You were not meant to return.” Soren’s blade ignited in response — not drawn yet, but burning faintly in his hand. “Tell your masters I’m done being what they made me.” The lead Seraph descended further, its tone sharpening. “You bear power stolen from the divine heart. You are corruption wearing flesh. Yield, or we will purge this realm of your taint.”
