She reached in and touched one of the bones. The air shifted. The moon bled through the trees, slow and deliberate, casting silver shadows across the clearing. And the bones moved. One by one, like they had minds and mouths and instincts of their own, they slipped from the fabric and into the grass. Ribs. Vertebrae. A shattered femur. A jawbone missing its tongue. All Hollowborn. All waiting. Emilia inhaled sharply and sliced her palm with the edge of a stone shard that hadn’t been inside the bag until this moment.

I can see the veins poking out of his neck and his forehead as he hit Alpha sadistic with his elbow. His face presses inside when his bones crunch inside. Damn, they are breaking one another’s bodies like it’s a plastic bottle that you can crush and then dip your fingers back inside to make it retake its former shape, except unlike the bottle still showing the sign of distortion, their own bodies heal completely within a matter of seconds.

She performed another spell to make his bones crack. Indeed his bones started breaking within his body. The ugly pain started from his leg ankles up through his knee and then upward to his hips and ribs. It was painful,a pain he swore he's never experienced in his life. But he wouldn't succumb,he won't show it. He would fight through this pain for his family,for the people that depended on him,for the world. He won't give up!,he must prove to the world he isn't a monster!. Eve gasped with her eyes exclaiming as Nicodemus inched closer. His bones were rearranging just as it was breaking. She growled before breathing out fire to his body.

I'd always thought it'd be a smooth transition, almost like a sensual dance - with ease and a flow, forgetting that my body was made of bones and muscles, blood. Reality slammed into me just as I was shifting. I let out a loud howl as my bones broke - or felt like they were breaking, but then I felt them stretching, readjusting themselves to take the form of a human. My torso stretched as well, my ribs shifted and that pain was so excruciating that I growled loudly, my head bowed.

She could make out a small pile of bones in the far corner beneath the only window. The binding holding her captive made it impossible for her to do anything other than roll toward the pile of bones. The act caused searing pain in her arms and brought tears to her eyes. She ignored the pain as best she could and with slow laborious deliberation she managed to position herself, so she could fumble through the bones until she found one that was brittle enough to break.

He couldn't have cared less about the couple of broken bones in his body! That's what very much like, Bowen moved down the steps over and over. Very soon, he was on the principal floor. At that point, just Bowen's skull had stayed in salvageable shape. All the other things in his body was broken. The leftover three fingers on his right hand were completely broken. Like a tree limb that had been run over by a vehicle, they were contorted in three distinct bearings. The finger bones penetrated out from the center and adhered to his shaking hand. His skin was holding tight the outer layer of his hand, and it appeared as though it would tumble off whenever.

"Get them to the ravine!" Shadows were pouring into the main entrance. Massive, hulking shapes with eyes like burning coals. Thorne's vanguard. A wolf the size of a bear, with grey matted fur, lunged at a young male near the fire pit. Jaws snapped, and blood sprayed across the stone floor. I didn't think. I shifted. The pain was a dull roar now, familiar and quick. My bones cracked and reshaped in seconds. I hit the ground on four paws, the silver wolf taking control.

Looked up. The doorway was blocked by something from the architecture of nightmares. Twelve feet tall. Bone plates layered across its body like armor that had grown rather than been made, ridged and yellowed and ancient. Four limbs, but jointed wrong — too many angles, bending in directions that made the eye flinch away. Its face was a skull with no pretense of flesh, and where eyes should have been, two points of red burned with the particular malevolence of something that had been created for one purpose and nothing else.

Her skeletal frame clung to it like a specimen on display. A long, horrifying wound ran from her chest all the way down to her lower abdomen. The glass door was smeared with blood. A torn piece of liver and strands of intestine were pressed visibly against it, dripping red. She looked like a living anatomical exhibit. Crack! The sound of bone snapping rang out. Crushed by the zombie tide behind her, her bones warped under the pressure. With a sharp pop, a row of ribs burst through her flesh. Pale bone fragments, still clinging with shredded meat, jammed against the glass. They scraped against it with a sickening squeal.
