Book About Humanity Novelas e Histórias

“His Holiness Valda. They both watched on as a frail elderly man stepped forward. He was smiling at both of them. “Please, come, sit.” He offered and the warmth he exuded was palpable. Marlon was still apprehensive about all of this. He recalled how to get out if anything went wrong. They seemed like kind holy men, but Marlon was all too familiar with wolves in sheeps clothing. “We are here about the Jewel of Humanity.” Marlon spoke loudly and gruff. Hoping that statement would prick and enliven their true nature. “I know nothing of it,” he said simply.

Ruben mumbles, and I turn to him. "Why risk it," I ask, and he looks between Kohn and me before answering. "Most human mates will have positive stories....the more....modern packs accept humans easily. Good stories should come forward for our benefit. Maybe the hype will die down," Ruben shrugs, and I shake my head immediately disagreeing. "No, very few humans will have strong enough stories to combat the fear now lingering in most of the human's minds.......Why did the Loner out us," I ask, turning my attention back to Kohn, who shifts back and forth on the balls of his feet awkwardly before answering?

He showed me the page of a book with a picture of humans with spears attacking creatures who were half-human and half-wolf. “Eventually,” he took the book back to flip through it again, “werewolves fought back and gradually took control of our society.” He showed me another page, this one with a picture of a werewolf stepping on a human’s neck and confiscating their spears. I barely took in the image before he snapped the book shut and handed it to me. I took it, reading the title: The Hidden History: The Werewolf-Human War Through The Great Claiming. “What’s The Great Claiming?” I asked.

Before he came back in, I went straight to his room. I scanned the room carefully, my fingers brushing against the edge of his bookshelf. That was when I saw it. A book. It wasn’t like the other ones. Its leather cover was black and worn, the edges uneven, as if it had been opened too many times. I picked it up, my hands trembling just a little, and flipped it open. “To become human, you must have sex with many humans and drain their energy. This will make you human… and stop you from drinking human blood.”

I have to get ready. Dakota pushed his way forward. "You know this is necessary, you made this deal with the human parliament. After this you must protect the humans from the were bears." "I just wish I didn't have to deal with the humans for this but I need to make sure our boundaries stay intact." Dakota had laid next to me and crossed his paws. Our minds like all wolves, created a sanctuary, for us to revert to and be with our wolves. "I know and you are now making decisions as an Alpha and it's to protect our people. If we're being honest though, there is a human you would love to deal with".

(Author's Note) Hi guyyys, so I wanted to share some quick info about Book 2 of My Human Mate (You Are Mine, Alpha). In Book 2, we have two female leads, Cara and Sophie. I believe Laurent and Sophie need a story, and Cara's story is far from over so why not merge it all into one?

"No! I wanna be a human!" I shouted. "What's so great about being a human? Do they have power? Do they have strength? If you embrace me,together we can conquer the whole world! We can rule over them! Not every half-breeds get the chance. They have to live like a pest their whole life as you were living like one the whole time! They have to wait for the full moon only to set their wolves free! Isn't it pathetic enough! Do you wanna go back to your pathetic life?"

“And none of that ‘fated mates’ business. I’m a human. I don’t have a fated anything.” “You don’t think Luna watches over you?” “Of course, but she watches over me in human terms, not wolf.” “I don’t know what that means.” “There’s a book by Taylor Alsop, Humanity under the Moon. I highly recommend it.” Even from the corner of my eye I could see his pleased smile. “Thank you. I’ll read it.” “Excellent. Now, is that all?” “So, you are well, then?” “Exceptionally so. Now, go hide somewhere. I want to buy this chemical reaction thing.”

Tension set in, she has had enough. Alijah bristled at his words, her temper flaring as she defended her kind. "Humans are not weak," she snapped, her voice sharp with anger. "They may not have the same strength or abilities as vampires, but they have their own strengths. They're resilient, adaptable, and capable of great kindness and compassion." Scott rolled his eyes, dismissing her words with a wave of his hand. "Whatever you say," he muttered, his tone dismissive. "But I still don't see the appeal."

Dammit Samuel, this is not a joke. If your going to be here then be here,if not then leave and don't come back. With all due respect Sir what would you do if you were going through what I am, I say stepping closer. I love her dad I can't lose her and I want her to know everything but she is human, it will take time. Dad I don't want to lose her, and I need your help. Then my father did something I thought he he would never do,he grabbed me and pulled me into a tight hug. After the hug and he pulled back and put his arms around my shoulder and said, you just need to ease her into it son and don't push her or you will scare her away. Ok? Ok. Now I'm hungry what do you say we go eat? Sounds goo
