The room fell into a quiet rhythm the clicking of keys, the occasional slurp from Edward's beer. It started like a routine scan. Then his typing slowed. His brow furrowed. Edward leaned closer to the screen. I drummed my fingers on the desk. "What?" Edward squinted, scrolling quickly. Then he let out a low whistle. "Oh, I take it back. This guy's interesting as hell."

I asked Selene and she thought for a while. “Because I don't think Cullen can be that thoughtless, ” She answered and I frowned. “Why can't he? Wasn't he thoughtless before? He almost had us killed in the underground dungeon, ” “Eira.. Countless werewolves have died in the underground dungeon without my brother's knowledge. Cullen is not entirely a bad man. He just takes his job too seriously. I'm sure he wouldn't have imprisoned you if he had known that you were the miraculous healer, ” Selene explained but I still gritted my teeth in contempt.

Edward could see her clearly through her cocoon, a transparent tube-like glass that shaded her from her mysterious self. "Did you kill them all?" Luciana asked, somberness filled her voice. Edward didn't know what to answer her to be saved from her piercing stare. How did she even expect him to go to the Malklaiv Coven and fight alone? This thought throbbed his heart. How uncaring a mother can be. "Yes. I. Did. Kill. Them. All." He answered under his breath and wished he smelled like fresh blood.

Zelena. I opened my eyes slowly. The sun was already shining brightly through the window. I reached my arm behind me and felt around the bed. I sat up quickly and looked around the room. Gunner wasn’t there. I took a deep breath and yawned stretching my arms out. Wait, my chest didn’t hurt. I twisted my back from side to side waving my arms in the air, my ribs didn’t hurt at all. I got up from the bed and walked around the room, still no pain. I noticed the bookshelf and decided to take a look. There were so many books, some with older worn covers and others newer looking. Meryl giggled while Kathy stared blankly into the air. Once Edward took leave from his friends, he hurried towards the high school building that was a few miles away. He had already chosen his next victims. Both of them were high school students and were close friends. Edward always enjoyed pursuing, confusing and surprising his victims and he was sure that his new adventure was going to be fun. They had two day remaining before the inauguration of the Chalice.
