Blue Moon Bed & Breakfast

Blue Moon Bed & Breakfast

Greta and Gabby made their way to Page Turner’s Bookstore just down the street from the Blue Moon Inn. Once inside the warmth of the large shop, Greta was surprised to see a bright modern shop, which included not only a metaphysical section, but my children’s section, too. With soft upbeat music playing in the background, it didn’t take long to find the shopkeeper chatting away to a rather wild looking dog by a fireplace.

Hello, so I just finish the 1st chapter, honestly, I think you introduced too many characters in the first chapter, why don't you focus on the MC and the husband and wife first. You can introduce the other staffs later when they play a role in the chapter. Good luck!

I love the way you tell us about all the different people that are going to be in the book. I like how each chapter is about one set of characters and how they are part of the whole tapestry of the story. Love that there's a Boggart in your book, they really are very mischievous but don't mean harm.

Basement Betrayal

Basement Betrayal

To help her first love, Simon Ahern, win the sprint championship, my girlfriend, Cecelia Holt, deliberately locked me in the basement the night before the competition. She looked at me icily and said grimly, "How many times have you beaten him? So what if I give the championship to him?" Later, she even broke my legs to help him steal the national team selection spot. I desperately asked Cecelia why she treated me like this; I was her boyfriend after all. However, she retorted, "He accompanied me through the three years of depression. I must fulfill this wish for him." However, she had no idea that with my legs gone, I was no different from someone who had lost their life. When I stop

The Alpha Who Left Me Pregnant

The Alpha Who Left Me Pregnant

People usually hide the things they do not want others to discover. My gaze stopped on a bookshelf at the back of the room. I had looked at it hundreds of times before, but this time I actually paid attention to what was on it. The shelves were not filled with old novels. Instead, there were books about sports, football magazines, and even several books about gambling. “Motherfucker,” I muttered as I quickly walked across the room.

My 90-day Marriage to my Ex-boss

My 90-day Marriage to my Ex-boss

The study was dark, so I opened the blinds and took in the room. It was very... August. Brown. Black. More black. Not a single color brave enough to survive in here. There was a minibar. I wasn't surprised to find it stocked mostly with expensive whiskey. The bookshelf took up almost an entire wall. Business books. Finance books. Leadership books. Books about making money. Books about keeping money. Books about probably becoming even more unbearable than he already was. Not one novel. Not even a guilty pleasure romance. What a sad life.

My mate is my brother-in-law and the alpha

My mate is my brother-in-law and the alpha

I let out a breath I didn’t realize I was holding. *** The journal raises more questions than answers, and it’s driving me crazy. That night, after everyone has gone to bed, I decide to sneak down to the basement. If the library had my father’s journal, who knows what else might be hidden in this house? The basement is cold and damp, with stone walls that make it feel more like a dungeon than a storage space. I use the flashlight on my phone to navigate through rows of old furniture and crates. I’m about to give up when something catches my eye—a stack of old newspapers in the corner. They’re yellowed with age, but one headline stands out:

Descendant of the moon goddess.

Descendant of the moon goddess.

Other times, I had come with an urgent intention, so I barely noticed my surroundings. The bookstore was dimly lit with shelves made from weathered wood, laden with large and small mysterious-looking books. The walls were a faded shade of grey, and the floor was made of wood. Colourful vases held scented flowers at different places in the store, giving the much-needed sweet-smelling air. When we reached the shelf that held the book, we paused and waited for Gibson to sort it out, each of us trying to hide our nervousness. I could hear my heartbeat in my ears. What if something goes wrong? I couldn't stand losing Jovita.

Fake Dating The Vicious Mafia Lord.

Fake Dating The Vicious Mafia Lord.

"I want to see what Antonio’s lapdog has to say before I send him to hell." **** The Basement The morning air was cold and smelled of salt and wet stone. We walked down the pier and straight into the lower levels of the mansion a bunker of thick timber and concrete. It was where I kept the things the world wasn't supposed to see. The light inside was dim, flickering, and smelled of old oil and fresh blood.

THE ALTAR WE BURNED

THE ALTAR WE BURNED

she whispered one night to Arthur. Arthur, holding her close, whispered, "I believe your gifts are returning for a reason. Maybe they never left." The Altar Beneath the Floorboards The ancient church that housed the library had a small, sealed-off section in the basement, inaccessible to all but senior clergy. It was whispered about, never discussed outright. Called the "Foundation Room," it was said to be a historical chamber holding relics from the first days of the cathedral.

The hidden past of my Alpha king and Me

The hidden past of my Alpha king and Me

Then the lock clicked slowly, as though deciding to allow us in. Inside, the chamber was filled with dust, cobwebs, and the scent of parchment. The air shimmered faintly with a kind of breathless stillness. In the center of the room stood a great stone basin, dry, yet lined with faint traces of silver. Around it, books and scrolls lay scattered, untouched for what must have been centuries. Kaid stepped closer, his eyes flickering between the walls and the basin. “This isn’t a record room,” he said. “It’s a reliquary.”

He Slept With My Sister, When I Was Giving Birth

He Slept With My Sister, When I Was Giving Birth

Ava The library basement was my last refuge on campus. Nobody came down here unless they had a death wish, or a term paper due at midnight. The walls were yellowed from a hundred years of climate control, and the light flickered just enough to make you paranoid about eye floaters. I liked it because nobody ever bothered me. The stacks were full of books even the catalog had given up on, and the WiFi was just bad enough to keep distractions at bay.

Finally.. We had reached end of the story. I must say it had been an emotional roller coaster for me with the characters in the story, esp with Ava who had made me teared up multiple times with her innocence, resilience and bravery for her age. One of the best books I had read.. Great job Jenne!
