I DIVORCED HIM! NOW, HE REGRETS

I DIVORCED HIM! NOW, HE REGRETS

“…Larry was just trying to calm her down…” “…did you see her face? Furious…” I clenched my jaw. Damian glanced at me but didn’t comment. He didn’t have to. He knew me well enough to know silence was safer than comfort right now. We reached the base of the staircase that led up to the gallery balcony — a sweeping structure of carved oak and crystal banisters that framed the ballroom like something out of a movie. Above it hung the chandelier — a massive thing, old and ornate, dripping with crystal pendants that caught every flicker of light. It had been the centerpiece of the hall since the hotel opened, a symbol of opulence and danger in equal measure.

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

The soft glow of the candles scattered throughout the room created a warm, inviting ambiance, the flickering light reflecting off the glass doors of the cabinets and casting playful shadows on the floor. In the center of this magical space, a magnificent chandelier hung from the ceiling, its crystal pendants catching the light and sending tiny rainbows dancing across the room. It was a piece of art in itself, an intricate web of delicate glass and metal that seemed almost too beautiful to be real. Below the chandelier stood a grand piano, its sleek black surface gleaming under the soft light. The piano was the kind you’d expect to find in the homes of the elite, an instrument that spoke of s

The man is so cruel and mean. I really don't understand Avery. She seems like an intelligent person but she is a pushover unfortunately. I'll keep reading though, hoping she becomes fierce and kicks his ass.

Here to correct a review I mistakenly left for a different book with a similar premise. As far as THIS novel, the author really does a great job writing in a way that makes you feel like you're there. The FL is pathetic at times, but likeable as hell. The ML though? Pathetic is an understatement lol

ARIA: The Rise Of The Half Wolf Phoenix

ARIA: The Rise Of The Half Wolf Phoenix

People staring……not at me, but above me. A strange chill spreads down my spine as I follow their gaze slowly, my breath catching in my throat. The massive, glittering, heavy chandelier above me is no longer still. I watch, frozen in place as the chain holding it breaks and it starts to fall…… Straight toward me……

A CUPCAKE FOR MY WARRIOR-MATE

A CUPCAKE FOR MY WARRIOR-MATE

"Charlie, I need your help." He walked into the dark interior of the house and Germaine was able to see glimpses of it as they passed from the foyer into the main house. There was a solid table hemmed with chairs and the pendant light above it was comprised of bleached antler bones and strands of ivy. A large bookcase took up one expanse of the wall, and tomes littered the floor and furniture like the bricks of a well-spoken empire.

Light & Darkness: Book 4

Light & Darkness: Book 4

I managed to break a bit to the surface even though I came from a poor family. ~~~~~~~~~ Miyuki put down the pen and closed the diary, then hiding it in the lockable drawer, locked with a key she always had with her, hung on a silver chain, right next to the cross with Jesus and the medallion with the image of the Virgin Mary. She put the candle, which had been standing on the desk so far, on the bedside table. Out of a childhood habit, Miyuki used candles to save electricity, and besides, she always associated candlelight with safety. Miyuki had left it lit overnight, because she still couldn't fall asleep in complete darkness, especially now that grandma died and she was completely alone i

Rejected By My Alpha, Claimed By The Ruthless Billionaire

Rejected By My Alpha, Claimed By The Ruthless Billionaire

The chandeliers are melting. That's the first thought that goes through Aurelia's head as she steps through the service entrance, heels clicking against marble polished to a mirror shine. They're not actually melting, obviously — the light just catches them wrong from this angle, sends prisms skittering across the vaulted ceiling like shattered glass. Twelve crystal chandeliers, each one the size of a compact car, suspended over five hundred of the wealthiest people in the northeastern corridor. She's been in this ballroom exactly once before. Three years ago. Cleaning crew.

Luna Pretending To Be Blind

Luna Pretending To Be Blind

All I needed was time. Once I was sure she wasn’t coming back downstairs, I slipped into the living room. The chandelier hung right in the center of the ceiling, heavy and ornate. I dragged a chair quietly across the floor and climbed up. My hands reached the base of the chandelier where it met the ceiling. The screws were tight. I worked slowly, carefully, loosening them one by one. I didn’t let the chandelier drop. Not yet. I made sure the screws were loose enough to give way soon, but not immediately. By my calculation, it would take a few minutes. Enough time if everything went according to plan.

BETROTHED TO THE ITALIAN ALPHA MAFIA BOSS

BETROTHED TO THE ITALIAN ALPHA MAFIA BOSS

--Cassie-- The room was breathtakingly glamorous. The chandeliers, massive and intricately designed, hung high above, casting a golden glow that shimmered off every polished surface. The atmosphere was opulent, almost surreal, as though I had stepped into a world reserved for the elite.

Mated To My Enemy Alpha

Mated To My Enemy Alpha

I will want him to abandon the mafia life but since I'm not sure of him, whether he'll be my forever, I can't say or do anything. We walk upstairs to the golden library, it's written so on top of it. The door is gold and giant, I believe this is the reason it's named so but when the door is pushed open and I see the interior, everything is gold, the book shelves and the ceiling, a gold chandelier stands in the midst, suspending from the ceiling, giving it powerful rays of light on the entire room. I feel this' my best place. "I think I can take a book from here?"

The Alpha’s Dionesa

The Alpha’s Dionesa

A grand chandelier hangs from the high ceiling, casting a warm light. In the center, there are mahogany tables with velvet chairs, perfect for reading. A fireplace with an ornate mantel and a large painting above it adds to the cozy atmosphere. Tall windows with heavy curtains let in natural light, and a plush Persian rug covers the floor. I ran my hands across the shelves, my fingers came to a halt in one specific book. “Midnight Howls.” A famous book by Orin Darkhowl. According to Thalia’s brother Talon.
