His name, signed on the big-ass book. Grey Sthor. Confirming my earlier predictions. Nice… And the book was… “Basics of Health.” It was a medical textbook.

“Miss Marisa, I have someone with me. I’ll just accompany him while he books his room before I proceed to mine. The event will start at 12:30 right?” I could see the shock on her face and nodded shyly before leaving. I turned to face Lucas and smiled at him. I waited for him to book his own room.

I don’t want to spend any more time digging through stacks, so I grab a random paperback that’s sitting on the edge of the table before heading to the counter. “Excellent choice!” the bookkeeper chirps as he rings me up. “This one here is a riveting read,” he says, holding up the paperback I hadn’t even glanced at.
