he said. "Thank you, this is our haven from the hands of the enemy," I replied. "You're right. So, I'll let you know if there's a message from Claire," he said and left me. When Heath was gone, I opened my suitcase and took the only book I brought with me. The Name of a Rose, written by the Italian author Umberto Eco. I haven't even finished from the prime. I couldn't face reading it because of too many works in Paris. I turned to the page where I placed the bookmark.

His Bound

His Bound

Cutting off any point of weakness was his only option. Ananeas was brought out of his thoughts when he heard the sound of the huge doors closing, and then, a flash of red stumbled across, as if the hallway wasn't wide enough. He felt a small bump against his shoulder. He would have almost complained and shunned said person but then... a burning pain passed through his body. A feeling of growing heat remains right in the center of his chest. It burns so hot but yet, he's unable to let out a sound, mouth left wide open. He places a hand to his chest, and just as it came, the said person — and the pain that came with them— is gone.

A little Bit of Faith

A little Bit of Faith

I see that the item that had hit me earlier was actually the mop, and I rolled my eyes. I should probably get out of here, but where would I go? I have 30 more minutes until the next bell. So I sit back down and look at my phone. The dark didn’t seem so menacing when I could look forward to meeting the Hoodie guy who seemed harmless, though he was probably a serial killer. Or severely deformed. That’s probably why he is hiding his face. But would I care if his face was different? I’m not sure. His voice and actions seemed to be enough to calm me when I was in a dark spot. So maybe that means there’s more to him than meets the eye. Not literally, though. Because my eyes have never actually se

I truly fell in love with this book! So many emotions while reading this book. Very well written and relatable. I'm glad to see authors supporting other authors. Otherwise I may not have came across this book. I can't wait to read more of your work.

This book isn’t the typical man whore teenage high school story. I love it. It breaks the norm. Full of drama if u need it, but not too much that ur suffocating from it. This book teaches the importance of healing from physical violence. Both main and both sub characters are amazing. Just loved it!

Hell Hounds

Hell Hounds

“Is there a reason you’re trying to make me feel small? I don’t back down that easily.” “Hm… wasn’t thinking of it.” “Really? Then what were you thinking about?” “Maybe later. Now isn’t the time to talk about it. How long will it take for you people to get here?” “Oh, the Hounds will be here in the next two or three hours, and they come bearing food, gents. Hilda’s cooked and packed some spare things from our Christmas Fare. So, eating will be good.” “The Hounds?” Hal looked up from his computer for possibly the first time since she entered the room and dropped the information on them. None really had looked surprised, which was odd with nothing else considered.

Spicy Lollipop: 30 different short erotica.

Spicy Lollipop: 30 different short erotica.

I love books, and seeing this one lying on the floor hurts my heart. Looking around, I pick up the book and tuck it underneath my hoodie, the glowing stops immediately. It doesn’t take long for me to get home, and when I do, I pull the book out of my hoodie. “You poor thing.” I mutter as my fingers tremble on the yellowed pages of the book. Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, I’m Skyler, the girl who stutters through small talk, who hides behind oversized hoodies and thick glasses because words always tangle in my throat when real people are around.

The House Beneath the Blood Moon

The House Beneath the Blood Moon

“She guards what is powerful.” “Well,” I said, “that’s inconvenient. I don’t think Home Depot sells haunted drill bits.” He gave me a long, patient look. “You would drill through an ancient enchantment?” “It’s called problem-solving.” “It’s called suicide.” “Semantics.” --- The mirror shivered under his hand. Light rippled through the glass like liquid gold. Brenda groaned deep in the walls — half warning, half sigh. “Okay,” I said. “That’s officially creepy.”

Blood Hunt

It was near their place plus it was under one of the elders in the Pack. And now Callum was trying to make kids understand that they had to go to school and behave there. He was actually worried for Minnie. But Stephen made sure that it was a safe and closed environment. And besides, everyone knew they were the kids of the Alpha. Yon, he was excited. Like really excited. Stephen would call him bookworm. He loved reading. And that earned him big glasses at the age of 5. All three kids were intelligent and sharp with best reflexes and observation skills.

Claimed By My Ex’s Mafia Father in-law

My legs wobbled beneath me, the floor cold against my bare feet. I ran my hands over my body frantically, checking everywhere. My arms, my legs, my torso. I even pulled at the oversized hoodie draped over me to check beneath. No stab wounds. No bullet holes. No missing pieces. My lungs filled, and I breathed out in shaky relief. “Phew,” I whispered. “Thank God. I’m safe.” But my relief didn’t last. Because I realized something else. The hoodie wasn’t mine. It was big, black, soft against my skin. And it smelled God, it smelled of something masculine and dark. Rich leather. Expensive tobacco.

my inner voice said. He returned with a black hoodie and a pair of sweatpants. “Here,” he said, tossing them gently on the couch. “Bathroom’s down the hall. You can change there.” Finally giving in, I walked into the house. I can't die from receiving help from a stranger. “Thanks if you are not a serial killer or an organ trafficker.” “Fuck. Is that why you are acting weird?” Kael asked without raising his voice. I could tell he was dying to laugh at me, but he didn't let it out.
