Knock. At my door.

The bell rang, followed by music again. Slam shot at me imminently. I swear to God, I almost pissed myself. He looked like he was a psycho killer about to skin me alive. I threw myself on the ground and rolled a few feet before popping back up on the balls of my feet. Slam turned towards me and smirked a malicious smile.

*Knock knock* I lifted my head from my book that I had been reading because I couldn’t fall asleep, and I frowned at my bedroom door. That was strange. I definitely heard a knock, but it was too far to be from it. Maybe I had heard things. *Knock knock* The knock came before I could resume my reading, and my frown deepened. Was someone here? It couldn't be. Maybe an animal was playing with something, or it could be the wind.

It turned, the room was unlocked.
