The Alpha Claimed Me Deeply

The Alpha Claimed Me Deeply

She promises, pointing to an area where there are a few chairs around a table. I nodded, still a little uneasy but don't word it out. I better start searching for what I came here for and quickly. As Lily skimmed her way through the endless books, I decided to stay where I am and skim the big book she handed to me. Its olive green cover was very old and showed that it had been here for ages. There was no indication of what the book held in its knowledge apart from the golden art of a wolf sketched into it. I opened the book, the dusty yellow pages greeting me. I coughed. It seems no one had bothered to dust it off. It must've been sitting here for God knows how long.

I loved the story but didn't like how it ended....kinda ruined it but I thought hey maybe they wrote a 2nd book so we can figure out what happened with Chris nd Lilly but nope I was wrong nd it's buggin the hell outta me that you didn't mention them so it kinda ends on a cliffhanger I think
Kathryn Shotzbarge
Carefully written with the innocence of Aurora coming alive through the story. I love how Xavier doesn't know what to do. He's so perplexed about her, confusing Aurora. I do wonder why they don't know what she is. Really good book. Enjoying it thoroughly.

Rejected Mate: The Persistent Alpha Wants Me Back

Rejected Mate: The Persistent Alpha Wants Me Back

Kate scolds in a soft tone. “Aww, Mom…” He pouts. “Okay. But Lee Lee, can you please read this awesome new book I got? It’s about a dinosaur that invades New York City,” he pleads, grabbing the book and showing Lena. “Sounds… um… promising.” Lena puts her arm around him as Will waves goodnight before they disappear up the stairs. Twenty minutes later, she emerges from Will’s room as we meet in the hallway. She places her fingers to her lips, and low and behold, there’s a sound-asleep child holding onto his precious dinosaur book.

My Boyfriend’s Wedding

My Boyfriend’s Wedding

So it wouldn't take long for the police to locate us and try to finish that mission as soon as possible. The little boy opened a small shabby and old book, in which the green cover was already totally covered with dust and some leaves exhibited a yellowish tone. I had the impression that I was seeing my old books from the time I went to church, where Bible stories mixed to explain the existence of God. I became even more believed that that situation was the same, because he opened the story on a page where a snake stuck in an apple tree tree appeared.

It's Been A While, Mr. Alpha

It's Been A While, Mr. Alpha

"We don't have any students coming here since everyone has class." Cathy and Roxie agreed. They took different kinds of books. "Miss, what book is this?" Roxie asked in surprise. Cathy and the Librarian turned to Roxie. They saw that Roxie was holding a book that was black in color. Apart from its black cover, there is nothing else written on it. "Oh, so there it is," the Librarian said, gently taking the book from Roxie. "It's a book about rogue wolves. I've been looking for it for a while," she explained.

Unwanted Wolf

Unwanted Wolf

I can tell Uncle Leo we aren't ready yet. 'I'm sure. I don't think it will help us, but it won't hurt either.' She said. I picked up the book. It was an old, deep brown, leatherbound book with the title in gold leaf. 'Tales of Olde'. It was heavier than I expected. Uncle Leo hadn't told me the title of the story so I skimmed the contents page. None of the titles mentioned an unnamed wolf. I sighed.

After Eight Years, She Left Me at the Altar for Her First Love

After Eight Years, She Left Me at the Altar for Her First Love

To him, these children were his closest family. Seeing them grow up happy and carefree was what made him happiest. “Lucas.” Lily tugged at Lucas’s pant leg. Lucas crouched down in front of her. “What’s wrong, Lily? Don’t you like your gift?” Lily was holding a set of storybooks. She quickly shook her head. “No. I love it!” She looked a little shy, but also curious. Because she was excited, her voice came out a little louder than she meant.

The Substitute Bride He Broke.

The Substitute Bride He Broke.

"I don't know what to do with this version." "Nora —" "Caleb. Not now." He sat in the chair. He did not leave and she had no need of telling him to. She wasn't sure which of them that said something about. Liam woke up an hour later and asked Caleb whether crocodiles were older than dinosaurs and they spent the next forty-five minutes going through the book together, Liam issuing corrections whenever Caleb said something slightly wrong and Caleb taking every correction with complete seriousness, and Nora sat in her chair and watched her son's face — bright and interested and here, still here, getting better —

sounds like many boots walking towards the house. Lyle crawls in the room putting his finger to his lips waving me to come down on the floor with him. Where She Falls, We Catch Her

Where She Falls, We Catch Her

“You realize she’s going to memorize this place by the time she’s five.” “I know,” Evelyn murmured, pride threaded through her voice. On the rug, Eva had already chosen. The book was thick, with a worn blue cover and an illustration of a dragon coiled around a tower. She sat cross - legged, fingers pressing lightly against the embossed scales on the cover before opening it. The illustrations inside were rich — watercolor skies, mountains, and dragons with eyes like jewels. Her small voice read the shapes of the letters aloud, haltingly, not yet forming the full words but tasting their rhythm. She traced the dragon’s curved horns, then its tail, then the tower stones one by one.

Never Ending 17

Never Ending 17

Layla exclaimed with a bright smile on her face, oblivious to the librarians’ suspicions. Layla confidently walked to the anthropology section, ready to find her answers. She first started in the symbol section, slowly skimming through each book as to not miss what she’s looking for. Each book was vastly different, some being new releases with what only seemed to be myths regarding the symbols as make belief, and others old enough to conjure up the creatures they speak of by themselves. Yet none of these books had what she was looking for. As she walked down the aisle, a dark blue book poked out from the top shelf; catching her eye almost like it was magnetically drawing her to it, and every
