The hand in his hair slid down as she threw her arms around his neck. "What are you doing?" she scolded. "You shouldn't be carrying something as heavy as me!" Mason's dark eyes skewered her with a look as he started towards their bedroom – since the master bedroom was on the first floor it wasn't far away at least. "Woman, you'd better not be putting yourself down." Dammit. She never should have told him about the spanking books she'd read. "That's not what I meant," she protested. It had totally been what she'd meant.

I told them as calmly as I possibly could. “What stuff?” Mason asked. Jason chuckled as he hit the back of Mason’s head, making him glare at his twin. “She means your books, idiot! The things which are full of sheets which have stuff written on them which you have to learn.” Jason told Mason. Mason nodded his head at that. “I don’t have any books, Ellie.” Mason told me. I rolled my eyes at him. “Then go to your class, dumbo!” I told him. He slightly pouted at my comment.

POV Zara When we stepped into the Marshall residence, the chill in the air didn’t seem to matter. Kayden’s mother immediately fussed over me as usual, saying, “You’re wearing too few layers, Zara! Quick, bring an overcoat for the Young Madam.” I barely had time to protest before they wrapped me in another layer. Honestly, I was fine, but Kayden’s Mother’s warmth and concern made me feel like I was being pampered beyond belief. This was the Marshall family way—especially when it came to their daughter-in-law.

She needed to see Mason before the fall of night, even if only for a second. Swallowing hard, she reached out and opened the door, stepping inside and closing it again behind her. She stopped for a moment to think of where he would be hiding and then continued up the stairs to the room where she had found all of his personal effects, remembering the thick black curtains that had hung either side of the window. The door swung open swiftly as she pushed it and she spotted Mason in the darkest corner; sitting in an old mahogany rocking chair, reading an old leather bound book.

Immediately, in a blur of instinct, I lunged, my claws wrapping around his throat as I pinned him against the wall. My eyes were glowing its usual crimson red, Zane and I were sharing partial control. I needed answers and I was going to get them right now. I thrust the book before his face, watching his eyes widen, before I toss it to the floor.

It was worth a try, Xenia thought. Jane ushered Xenia out of the bathroom and back into the room, and Xenia stopped in her tracks. Mason was reading a book in the little nook by the window. Shirtless. He stretched with a yawn, and Xenia couldn't help but notice how his taut muscles moved with each stretch. The soft glow from the bedside lamp made his dark skin look smooth and immaculate. He looked up and caught Xenia staring, and a slow smile spread across his face. Xenia looked away in embarrassment.

Unlike Mason, walang pang-itaas na suot ang tarantado and just wandered around my house like that habang magulong-magulo pa rin ang buhok nito.

I sat down and glanced at her, “ So class, today we will study about....” The Professor said after coughing and the boring as fuck class started. Classes were finally over, fu•k yes! “ We have all the books we need but one is missing, we need to go to the library again to collect that one.” Mason said while shoving the book list in his jeans pocket, I simply nodded my head. We entered the library and Mason greeted the librarian, “ Mr.Jude, we still have one book remaining.” Mason said and the guy smiled while saying,

I grab a towel and wrap it around myself. I open the door and walk to my room. Going into my closet,I find some matching underwear. A white lace set. The bottoms are brazillian and fully lace,while the top has breast pads covered by lace. After putting on the underwear, I peak my head out of the closet. I see Mason laying in bed with one leg ontop of the comforter and one arm over his eyes. His other hand lays next to him kn my spot and his leg is burried under the covers.

A loud click followed by a flashing green light came from the safe. "They didn't." Breyona shrugged, giving Mason a cocky grin. "Mom's horrible with remembering numbers. She used to forget Dad's birthday all the time." Mason and I waited withheld breath as Breyona opened the thick safe. An exhale of breath came from Mason’s lips as we locked eyes on the only book sitting in the safe. “One book?” Mason scoffed, shaking out his sandy blonde hair. “An entire safe for one book.” “Like I said, my parents are paranoid.” Breyona shrugged, her hands gentle as she lifted the book into her arms. “Plus, this book is probably priceless.”
