I nodded and looked up the name, once got to the checkout stand, finding it rather quickly then did the whole check out process for reserved books before putting in a bag for her. "Have a nice day. Enjoy the new book" I said smiling at her, she thanked me but was still standing here. I got more nervous the longer she stayed staring at me. "Ma'am, do you need something else? We have a coffee shop that sells delicious drinks and sweets. I always grab a few before I leave" I said which wasn't a lie. I always got at least a drink and cookie at end of my shift before cuddling in for the night in my car. I looked over at the clock and saw I still had about an hour left of my shift.

Greta and Gabby made their way to Page Turner’s Bookstore just down the street from the Blue Moon Inn. ARDEN “Oh crap,” I muttered under my breath when I noticed a notification from Silver Quill. It appeared that we had an activity scheduled for tomorrow, and I needed to buy a book from the local bookstore. Owen halted in his tracks and turned to me, one eyebrow arched inquisitively. “Do you know where this place is?” I asked, holding up my phone to show him the name of the bookstore. “Haven? It’s that one,” he replied, pointing towards a shop not far from us. It was only a few blocks away, which caused me to sigh in relief. “Why do you ask?”

Maybe our connection wasn’t meant to be, so no matter how we were brought together we still didn’t end up together. A few moments later, I’d found the books I wanted to buy. I placed them in my arms, then walked over to Kevin, who was sitting on the reading sofa. This bookstore has a tiny reading room with only two reading sofas separated by a small round table. A reading lamp stands beside each sofa. On the table sits a small flowerpot serving as decoration. The reading room floor is carpeted, and next to my sofa are two vending machines.
