At first, I found it hard to read the letter but the more I stare at them, the more I seem to get it. Willow stopped in front of the third shelf and ran her puffy hands along the spines, finally pulling out a book and handing it to Clara: Historic Crimes in Hiestora. When Clara pried it open, the book issued a hissing sound and she noticed it suddenly felt lighter in her hands. Cracking open the dusty tome, Clara noticed pictures that were moving as if the history was playing out once again inside these pages. Below the pictures were written texts of the events.

She was shaking her head in disbelief, like she couldn’t believe this was happening. “No… It can’t be him! I saw him leave.” She entered another aisle only to find it had the cursed book embedded in the wall too. She turned around and fell backward with a shriek as the book was embedded now in both ends of the aisle. She pushed the shelves but they wouldn’t move. Frantically she looked at the Book of Oath in her hand. There were three books which meant one of it was an illusion. Low chanting resonated from every direction, some low and some high pitched. Childishly, she stomps on it with her heeled boot to appease her rage before letting out a small scream of frustration. I watch her make a dramatic exit before stepping out from between the shelves a couple of seconds later, eyes cautiously searching just in case. Shaking my head in amusement I trace my way back to the storefront and settle on one of the sofa’s to read. I feel the need to arm myself with a lot of knowledge now that I know what I could become, the first book I’d picked is called History of Elementals. On the first page is the beautiful design of the black interlaced knots in the middle of the page. Seeing the knot, I’m reminded of my black triquetra tattoo and shift uncomfort
