Two months since the ceremony, and I still feel like a stranger in my own home. My name is Elara, and I am the Luna of the Shadowfang pack. At least, that's what the title says. Upon asking him why he thought a locked book would help them find Varcolac, he still picked another book from the shelf for her. This time, this one had a name on it and it was not locked unlike the big ancient one. The book had ‘Lunar de sangre’ as the title, meaning ‘Blood moon’. He opened the last pages of the book. In one of the pages was a snapshot of the maze on the big book’s covers. The following page was written ‘Varcolac y la lunar de sangre’ in huge bold numbers meaning ‘Varcolac and the Blood moon’. Too bad for them, the pages after this were torn off. Nothing they could get beyond the names and the maze.

Eventually, I found one, but it was a general book about every other god there was to exist aside from the moon goddess. I grabbed the book immediately, and I went out to the living room. They were still seated around, discussing and planning on what next to do concerning the little dilemma we were in. “So guys, I might have found a book that'd be helpful,” I said, walking towards them. “Is that book not too big?” Kieran asked, looking traumatized. “Approximately how many years would it take you to finish off this book?” “I know, right?” Akira agreed with Nyx.

"We need to know what we're dealing with." We look for hours. The moon climbs higher in the sky. Finally, hidden away in a forgotten corner, I locate it. A book bound in black leather. No title. Just a bizarre symbol on the cover – a wolf howling at a shattered moon. My heart skips. "This is it," I murmur. Carefully, I open the book. The pages are ancient, frail, yet the text is legible. It tells about a prophesy. A prophesy concerning a Luna born under a crimson moon. A Luna whose love would either rescue the world... or cause it its destruction.

"Keep a low profile. It really has taken it out of me to keep the Moon from noticing your absence. It would really do me well if you kept to yourself." Damon speaks as he pulls something out of the breast of his jacket. It's a book, bound beautifully, covered in swirls of silvery patterns. When he extends it to me, I notice what it is. It's the Moon Goddess book. I've been desperate to get this off Shinee and Damon for some time now. Each time it's been right in my hands and then torn away, so to finally hold it against my fingertips is a blessing. Perhaps Damon is giving this to me on behalf of Shinee, who drugged me with a truth serum, which in return, I would receive the book for.

Magic swirled around its outside edges waiting for me to step through before closing the doorway. I step through the magical doorway into the room given to me by the beta tanner at the Harmony Moon pack. The urgency in Typhon’s voice confirmed that I was in tremendous trouble with the Gods for assaulting Ares. Typhon’s last words echoes in my mind ‘Stay away until either Selene or I call you back!’
