The book wasn't locked or glued together. She could see it through the pages. There was a purple coloured stone at the front cover and she wondered if it was what held the book together.

Just as I finish asking the man wraps his arms around me from behind the tree, clamping his hands together, holding me right on the rough bark of the tree. “Let me go!” I yell hoping he would listen. The sound of giggling gets louder as his grass gets tighter. I see a light from a flame appear from behind me lighting up everything in front of me.
