Rules and Roses

Rules and Roses

“Girls are nothing but trouble.” And then he leaves, giving Yohan a stiff nod. Yohan didn’t even look up from the book he was reading. He raises his arm up as if to wave and that was that. My eyes look down on the book and sneer. It was a pamphlet. A small red pamphlet that was probably supposed to be distributed to orphanages. The Power of Forgiveness: A Woman’s Guide In Saying I’m Sorry “Just when I thought he was turning cute.”

I have not read the book as yet; I read the quotes at beginning of each chapter, from chapter 10 onwards. I found the quotes relevant to current situations I am facing. Thanks for a timely reminder, author! I will be reading the book soon and I anticipate an enjoyable read

And Then Came Love

And Then Came Love

No Sufyan, you do not have to forgive people to heal because like she'd said, choosing to not forgive is not unforgiving. Sabeerah had been thoughtful enough to order him a book on forgiveness just to have him understand what they'd been discussing from her own point. "Is it from that Munirah lady?" Lillian asked. "Yes." He said dropping the book back into the box, he brought it down and kept it in a drawer. "Being overprotective now are we?" "It's just a book Lillian, what else do you want to know?" He asked her. "Hmmph! If you say so but doesn't she know you're not a reader?"

99 Chances for Forgiveness

99 Chances for Forgiveness

were like blades piercing his eyes. Alexander stood up shakily and coughed up a mouthful of blood, which splattered onto the divorce papers and the forgiveness coupon box nearby. He then picked up the box. The once-empty box now felt as heavy as a thousand pounds in his hands. He stared at the empty box, his eyes blazing with anguish. When exactly had it become empty? Alexander, who was usually sensitive to numbers, suddenly found his memory of the forgiveness coupons blurring. He remembered Isabella's warning to him. "If the forgiveness coupons are ever used up, I'll take our daughter and leave you forever."

Forgive, Never Forget

Forgive, Never Forget

He wrapped his arms around her, all gentle and sweet. "Sarah, are you feeling better? Did you eat today? Stay for dinner. "I heard Jason has finally stopped causing trouble. Don't worry about him. Mom and I will go check on him in a couple of days. "I don't hate him anymore. I mean, yeah, he leaked my photos to the whole world, but we're still family." Margaret smiled warmly. "That's right, Sarah. Let's just put what happened today behind us. And don't be too hard on Jason. It's not his fault. He never got a proper education."

The 99th Forgiveness

The 99th Forgiveness

"What you did was wrong, and you must face the consequences. You can't just apologize and expect everything to return to normal. "Frederick, we're over." With that, I walked around him and entered the law firm. Frederick didn't pursue me further. He knew my personality. Once I made a decision, I never looked back. However, I noticed he stood straight outside the company building for an entire day, ignoring the strange looks from passersby and enduring the wind and sun. What was the point of any of this? Some relationships, once lost, were lost forever. For two years, I had given him 99 chances, and he had missed every single one. A man like that didn't deserve forgiveness.

Please Stay

He leaned closer to the black book and lowered his glasses so he could read the title. "... I forgive." He knew the title. He knew who wrote it and he could even recall how it felt in his hands with intricate detail. But he needed to make her tell him what he has been told a million times before, so she could feel better and special. The young woman smiled down at the book and stroked its canvas cover. She took a breath in and recalled the countless times this book supported her when her own mind couldn't. A tear formed in her eye, and took a breath again. A breath and tear that occured countless times before. Dr. Luca pulled out his tissue box, and the same tissue was pulled out like others

JUST BEST FRIENDS

JUST BEST FRIENDS

She couldn't believe she was finally holding her daughter, having physical contact, after a long, long time. Technically, everyone held each other in a small circle, like one happy family. All that was left was Idara's speech to seal their bond once again, or once and for all rather. “You know,” Idara cleared her throat, “all this fighting and blame games are pointless. It's high time we face reality and move on, and I'm sure you all agree with me. And, see, let me tell you all something I just realized,” she shared. “Something about Matthew's words struck me a while ago, and that is the fact that when someone wrongs us and we forgive them, we often think that we are doing that person a favo

Accidentally Slept With A CEO

Karen, having glimpses into their situation through her interactions with Nelson's father, listened with understanding. Valerie," Karen began, her voice soft with understanding, "forgiveness is a powerful force. I once found myself holding onto resentment toward my own brother. We hadn't spoken for years due to misunderstandings and hurts. It took a health crisis for me to realize the fragility of time and the weight of unresolved issues." She continued, "In that critical moment, I chose to let go of the bitterness. I reached out to my brother, seeking reconciliation. It wasn't easy, but it was necessary. We mended our relationship before it was too late, and it brought a profound sense of p
