Novel & Cerita Book Picking Up The Pieces

Brooklyn said, sitting at the table where her laptop and notebook sat. Kendall pulled out a chair and sat down. “What’s up?” Brooklyn asked, shutting her laptop. “I did a reading today,” Kendall said, taking out her notebook, “and it’s got me a little worried.” Frowning, Brooklyn said, “What did the cards say?” Opening her notebook, Kendall looked at her notes. “It’s saying something about heartbreak, danger, and loss,” she said. Shea paused in her chopping to say, “That doesn’t sound good.”

Someone ripped it. April Rose felt like there were a lot of important information about Cassandra Spellflower that was taken out of the book. She felt a surge of eagerness to know more about Cassandra. She flipped the pages of the book hoping to find the ripped pages, but she couldn’t find them. She grabbed a different book, flipped the pages over and over again only to find nothing but dust falling. She grabbed two more books and flipped them in hopes of finding the missing pages. Instead of finding the ripped pages, she noticed something fell from one of the books she just flipped. It was an old photo. She went down on her knees and picked up the photo, and when she flashed the light on it

I won’t try touching it again. Closing the box, I approached the shelves. I take out the book closest to me. Brushing off the dust, I realize it’s a strategy book, written in delicate penmanship. The paper is fragile, but the tome is bound with great care. The other side of the shelf seems to have hard-bound journals. It’s like an entire couple’s life secured in one small room. I heard a scraping sound, and I turned my head to see Robert picking up a stack of small portraits from one of the iron boxes in the corner.

Papers were scattered across the desk, as though my father had been in the middle of something important before he’d abandoned it all. I ran my fingers over the back of a chair, my eyes scanning the chaos of the room. My gaze shifted toward the floor, and that’s when I saw it. A book, lying face-up. It wouldn't have caught my attention if not that I saw the way its seal had caught the light. I bent down to pick it up, my curiosity piqued. But as I examined it, I felt my heart skip a beat. The book was torn. Pages ripped out. The binding was cracked. And the more I examined it, the more I realized it wasn’t just any book.

It meant I still had time to take control of the project. Crash. A book suddenly fell from the shelf. I frowned. “Strange.” I walked over and picked it up. Book of Finance. That was the title printed on the cover. Something slipped from between the pages. A photograph. I pulled it out slowly. But before I could look closely— A hand suddenly snatched it away. “What—” I looked up quickly. But I was sure of what I had seen. A baby picture. “What’s wrong with—” I began, reaching for it.

That day, after breakfast, I took the satchel containing the broken urn, and made Cassian take me to the library inside the pack house. It was a huge, quiet room with rows and rows of books. At the very back, there were some old scrolls, and more books that looked like they might be restricted. The librarian was a nice old lady who had kept glancing at me until I found a desk out of sight. I got the urn out of the satchel, found two pieces that looked like they matched, and tried to join the edges together. I'd sort of been expecting that something magical would happen. Maybe the pieces would begin to glue themselves back together or something. No such thing happened.

Clarissa didn't feel it, but she'd check first. The phone was put back down and Clarissa opened her bag. The book was in the bag. It was tucked into the book Clarissa had borrowed. Clarissa was curious, what were the contents of Adimasta's book. She sat down at her table and began to flip through the pages of the book.

I looked like a slave myself. 'They must've searched all my pictures and taken the worst of all'. There was a reading table by the left, covered with open books. I walked closer and checked, they were criminal cases on murderers, amidst checking them one after the other, something fell. 'piiinnnnggg'. I rushed to pick it up immediatly.

I got to mom's room and head toward the dresser, pulling the top drawer open. It's stuffed with books and I spot mom's glasses at the edge. I reach to get it but my fingers sink into the stack of papers and the case fell deeper into the drawer. I dig deeper, my fingers comes in contact with an old book, I pull it out to be easier to pick the casing up. But then, something falls out of the old book. I glance down. It's a picture. I grab the casing first and reach to take the picture and slip it back into the old book.

Phobos pipes in telling me of his doubts about my accomplishment of his exercise. Grinding my teeth I claw on it and adding pressure to it has a piece pop up from the page. I startle dropping the book to the grass floor, caught off guard. Peering in I see fur peeking from underneath the piece. Time is running out. Taking a small breath I slowly tear the piece from the book. It comes off easily as if it was meant to whilst uncovering a small picture of four baby wild hares sleeping in a basket. There weren't merely four hares but eight.
