Mafia Men: Nikolai's Inferno

Mafia Men: Nikolai's Inferno

I sighed in relief as I read the name “A Clockwork Orange” I looked around to see if anyone was looking and opened the book, all the pages were cut out, and a burner phone was placed in the middle. I grabbed the phone, slammed the book shut, and placed it back on the bookshelf. I shoved the phone into my bag and walked out of the library. My hands were trembling, my legs were shaking. I looked around and a smiling Layla came into my view. Not knowing what to do, I started rambling about random things, "Hi, I was busy for a few days with my birthday and all—"

I just finished reading this book. I cried and laughed. What a beautiful love story. Chapters are long and intense. I read it after "Half a Time Later". I wish there were more authors like our Jane on ANY platform. Must-must read if you're into this genre
Sally King

Finding My Missing Piece

Finding My Missing Piece

I know what I'm doing is wrong, but what she doesn't know won't hurt her, right? The way she limped up the stairs still disturbs me. Kaima was simply careless and I couldn't stop myself from throwing daggers at her with my eyes... she was too occupied to notice, anyway. She sat opposite me on our study table but she was too engrossed and at some intervals too excited to be the same girl who always groans at the sight of her books. Even I wouldn't and I can say for a fact that I love studying, except... I zoomed my sight on the book in her hands. That wasn't her basic technology textbook. It's a novel, one that isn't part of her literature class and the title- 'One night with the playboy'

Torn Between The Alpha Twins

Torn Between The Alpha Twins

I winced at the noise, my worries intensifying. "Careful there you clumsy shit!" Lea yelled. " Don't just wake me up because of some stupid excuse like falling because of some Stupid book." He added before going back to sleep. She is fast and always helps me in situations like this. If not, my clumsy self would have been dead by now. Gathering the fallen books, I stole a glance at the silver-covered one. Doubt crept into my mind, overshadowing the initial intrigue. "There you are!" I smiled, my hope rising. But the I was worried again

Cursed Soul Of The Reincarnated Luna

Cursed Soul Of The Reincarnated Luna

The adrenaline was still pumping through my veins from the intense conversation with Morpheus, but I tried to focus on the task at hand. I flipped through the pages, scanning the words and images. My mind raced as I pieced together the puzzle that was unfolding before me. It was like a jigsaw puzzle, but the pieces were scattered across these papers instead of on a table. As I read through each piece of evidence, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction building inside of me. The pieces were starting to fit together, and I was getting closer to the truth. Suddenly, I heard a knock on my door. I quickly gathered the papers and shoved them into a drawer before answering...

The Hidden Alpha

The Hidden Alpha

Hurrying to my knees, I start picking up the pieces of glass that are shattered all over the floor. Rejected by My Mate, Fated to the Lycan King

Rejected by My Mate, Fated to the Lycan King

This is obviously a full-blown emotional crisis. “Scarlett,” I say carefully, crouching beside her, “What happened?” She lifts her tear-streaked face and wails, “They took it!” I’m taken aback by her vehemence and wonder who’d be stupid enough to take something from Scarlett. “Who? And what did they take?” “My book! The one with all my drawings and the pack stories and the fancy leaf cover and the ribbon spine!” I’ve never seen or heard of this book before right now. “The... what now?”

Broken Pieces

Broken Pieces

Once I was satisfied with my choice of clothing I then bring myself into the bathroom in order to face my current state. My drained and tired eyes meet my reflection, having me immediately go to apply some concealer under my bags in order to appear more alive. After spending a few more minutes doing my makeup, I then pull my hair into a messy bun before grabbing my belongings and walking out of my bedroom. I quickly walk down the short staircase that lead into our kitchen space before grabbing a bagel for breakfast and rushing out of the house. My feet carry me down the semi vacant street as a dark red jeep pulls up behind me before honking its horn , taking me by surprise. I immediately fli

Sold To The Wrong Lycan Heir

Shelves groan under the weight of our desperation. Time slips past unnoticed. My eyes burn. My fingers ache. But I keep going. I won’t stop. I can’t. And then, just as the weight of hopelessness starts to close in again, my elbow knocks over a stack of books. A slim, leather-bound volume falls free. Kai bends to pick it up, turning it over in his hands. He’s about to set it aside when I see the name on its cover. “Velora,” I breathe, my voice trembling.

Finishing the Puzzle of My Corpse

Finishing the Puzzle of My Corpse

The smell of blood mixed with decay hit him like a wave, making him frown involuntarily. His face paled when he saw the dark red chunks of flesh mixed with bits of bones in the bag, hands trembling as he gripped the bag. "This…they're truly monsters!" Zack said, his tone filled with pity. After putting on gloves, he carefully took all the chunks of flesh and bits of bones out of the bag. "This is just too cruel!" Zack's eyes reddened, looking beyond enraged. Seeing him like this, I suddenly recalled how, three years ago, his eyes were just as red in anger—all because I was kneeling at the door, begging him not to kick me out.

A Family in Pieces

A Family in Pieces

Meanwhile, Mom had redecorated Linda's entire room with moonlight grass and fresh flowers, hoping the cozy scene would lift her spirits. As for Linda, she was simply lounging comfortably on the couch, holding up the dress against herself. Yet, even that tiny motion made everyone tense, afraid she might get hurt. My soul came back with her, too. This house was full of all my memories, but it felt cold and biting now. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. I recognized the scent. It was my mate, Evan Davidson. Clad in his warrior uniform, he walked through the door carrying a small bag of supplements. He walked straight to Linda and said with concern, "Lucia, I heard that Linda was discharged today. I b
