Lady Cotts sounded furious but it didn’t show as her red eyes went dim slowly. Chuckling, Irina amused. “I would never do that.” She glanced at Lucas who blew her a kiss from across the room then at the hourglass next to him. Her voice was firm when she looked at her mother again. “Now, if you wish to know what happened with you, listen to me.” She paused to see whether her mother would give any reaction or not, turned out she was waiting for her to speak. “This book, written by an alchemist who lived centuries ago. It says in the book, in pictures, the sun and the moon anatomy. Do you know what uncommon between the sun and the moon?”

Libro Vitae whispered its voice harmonious. "Libro Vitae, please show me where Alastair is hiding," I asked. The book hummed in response. Libro Vitae became warm in my hands. The cover opened, pages flipped continuously until they suddenly stopped. The words on the page jumped off the paper, floating into the air, wrapping themselves around me. In a blink of an eye, I was pulled into the book. Light flooded my vision. Every sound echoed around me. Voices raced past me, speaking in riddles. Some shouting, screaming, others a dull whisper. Libro Vitae's voice became louder as I watched the trees form around me.

He ended up taking one whose cover had caught his attention, purple velvet, which seemed to be Ruvyn's favourite colour. He laid down on the bed again and opened the book, it was about the most famous wizards who lived, those who made history. Like Nostradamus who used to make predictions or Rasputin who was a famous healing wizard, who used his sorcery to treat the Tsar and his wife, many times, without forgetting Nicolas Flamel who was the alchemist to succeed, in creating the philosophers stone, and the elixir of life in the 17th century. All those strange people he read about in his fantasy books like Harry Potter existed also in their world and they were somehow related to his new frien

"Why is it expensive?" "No, it was in high demand." Alkhun looks at the book. It was almost like his first copy of it. Red cover, with the name of it. Written in bold letters. Alkhun was fascinated by the book ever since he first read it. It was the myth of the west. The myth about a tower, once hidden deep in the west. Where it is located, the structure, the system, the connection between worlds. Everything was written in detail. It was suffocating how fascinating whats that book has to offer. Like a gateway through the other dimension, that gives you goosebumps.

Noticing what she was looking, her dad smiled. "That is the symbol for alchemy in magick. This book is called Bnane's Book of Potions." Her dad said as he kept patting it as if the book was a little child or a favorite pet. "And only people with magick can open this book. All the special books can only be opened by the magick in our blood. Other normal books, about magick, about wiccan culture and symbols, now anyone can open it."

by hanging I felt as if the rope was tight around my neck, even worse, afterwards I saw myself painfully crawling out of a grave. I think I finally know what Alex wants to find in the book, the recipe for the aforementioned Aqua Vitae. I looked up "Aqua Vitae" on Wikipedia and read: '' In alchemy: Aqua vitae was supposed to be a leachate of the solid compound resulting from the Great Work, which was the philosopher's stone or stone of transmutation. This aqua vitae was attributed - to profane imagery - the property of transmuting "lead man" into "gold philosophical man", and thus was recognized as the elixir of eternal youth. ''

Black magic, necromancy, and other arts that did not enter a white coven. Alma closes another book and grabs another one from the pile, but sets it down again. She gets up and goes to one of the shelves. She runs her fragile finger over the thick spines, going through all the titles and stopping at one. She takes it out go back to the table, where she sits and reads. Maribela watched her. Alma was young but very intuitive, and something told her that the girl's intuition told her that the answer was not on the table. Maribela turns her eyes to the book she was reading and decides to close it. Take another one and start the consultation.

He was obsessed with the concept of duality, with the idea that every soul has a twin, a mirror image, a perfect complement. He believed that by harnessing the power of duality, he could unlock the secrets of the universe and achieve immortality.”

"who?' a gruff voice came from inside. "Sir I came in search of a book. Can you help me out please," he glanced at the counter. There was a brown leather hide book there. he curiously pulled it close. The hide felt smooth to touch. The corners of the book were worn with fingerprints. It was treasured by the owners. He opened up the heavy book cover and read the first page. It was about alchemy. Something he had no clue about. He placed it back in the same place. "What do you want?" a short man tottered out. he was just the height of his thighs but was built like a middle-aged man. His beard was as tall as his height. "hey, whatcha looking at?"
