The little ray of sun was almost gone, casting a little glow over the horizon. It was beautiful. We snuggled against each other to gather body heat. And just like that, we stood there in each other's arms, watching as tiny snowflakes fell from the sky and as the little ray of the sun cast a brilliant glow on the trees.

Twilight headed for the library and went to where Mason usually sat to read—a quiet corner with nice air circulation. “Hi,” she greeted, and he looked up. “Hi… uh, how may I help you?” “Can I join you?” Twilight asked, and Mason looked at her as though she had grown a second head. “Uh… sure. Why not?” he replied, surprised, and she sat beside him. Mason returned his focus to his work while Twilight unpacked her books.

Elowen’s POV – Twilight Whispers That evening, as the last vestiges of daylight faded into the soft embrace of twilight, the academy’s grounds transformed into a quiet sanctuary. I found myself wandering along a secluded stone path leading to a hidden courtyard, a place that had once been filled with echoes of our past conflicts and now promised a fragile new beginning. The gentle hum of evening stirred in the air—a murmur of crickets, the soft rustle of leaves—and all around, the academy seemed to exhale, releasing the weight of the day.

Werewolves have this amazing ability to attract all the attention around them when they wanted it, and the older, more experienced ones could blend in like they were invisible if they needed to too.

She slid down against the wall, her strength giving out, and pulled off her T-shirt in an attempt to cool down. Her breathing was heavy, and her pounding heartbeat echoed in her ears. Her entire body felt as though it were being devoured by ants, the sensation unbearable. She couldn’t stop the soft, stifled moans that escaped her lips. Suddenly, a sharp click pierced the air, and the lights flicked on. Tara’s vision blurred, her consciousness slipping away. Through her hazy gaze, she saw a tall, striking man walking toward her.

I ask him. “Well, I have not read the Twisted series, I heard it was really good book to read, that was why I recommended it to you. I can read the books with you, is that cool?” he asks me. I smile, happy that I will have someone to discuss the books with as I finish them, which is every reader’s dream.
