Alpha Ozymandius

So after eating breakfast, which a girl bought to me, I was staring at the riddle. After no luck, I tried to match the riddle with my life. 'I am what sometimes bring you joy and sometimes sadness. I am what you consider useless after sometime. But I always leave an impact on you. And this time, im here with a secret. Who am I' What bought me happiness and sadness at the same time? Book. What did I consider useless after sometime? Myself. What leaves an impact on me? Book. Book: 2/3 Myself: 1/3

The Ex-Change

The Ex-Change

I mean, I’m used to my own organized chaos, but this—this feels like I’m trespassing in a space I have no business being in. I throw myself onto the couch—her couch, which, for the record, has zero crumbs on it. It’s like the couch doesn’t even know what a crumb is. I run a hand over the cushions, unsure whether I’m impressed or just slightly intimidated. There’s a stack of books on the coffee table, which is, of course, alphabetized. I grab the one on top and flip through it. It’s one of those self-help books, the kind people like to pretend they don’t need but secretly read every morning before their third cup of coffee.

My Mafia Master: the alpha's dark desires

My Mafia Master: the alpha's dark desires

I even found the karma sutra amongst what I can only classify as the ‘self help’ section, opening it and then quickly closing it in case Enzo or his mother entered the room. A large book at the end of the shelf entitled “The Power and Responsibility of Men” caught my eye. It seemed to be more weathered than the rest of the books, but I didn't get why. “Who would be drawn to a book like that?” I asked myself, pulling it from the shelf.

Chosen Mate

The stores pass by in a blur and the silence in the car is comfortable. My legs are bouncing up and down at different speeds and I’m buzzing with excitement. I’m humming to myself and feel like I’ve slammed eight shots of espresso. The only thoughts on my mind are the stacks of books in the back seat. They call to me. I can almost hear them whispering to me, begging me to read them. One of them particularly calls to me. It’s called The Alpha’s Good Girl and do I need to say anymore about it? The title speaks for itself, but the blurb reached into my soul and I need the pain and pleasure I know it will deliver. The sun is setting and I don’t even question it as I reach down and pinch myself.

The Tales Next Door

The Tales Next Door

He raised his eyebrows and moved his lips in what could probably be termed as a smile. "From where did you get it?" he asked, extending his wrinkled hands towards the apple. "Oh, you don't want to know. Let's get started. Which books do you want me to sort today?" "You are not half bad, Shiva. Walk on the straight path, and you will still be able to make something of yourself,” said the old man looking at the boy right in the eyes. Shiva turned away from his gaze, and Ben continued, “Sort out the romantic novels and keep them on this shelf here." He proceeded to explain where all genres had to be placed. The store would open in a few days, the first bookstore in this part of town, albeit of

He knew that selling books was his passion, and he was ascertained that it was the pure profession according to the religion he believed in. Someone would be rich, but no experience of the satisfaction and complacency he had got now. This thought made him rejuvenate. At this time, his young child tried to tug the fringe of his longyi to warn him that it was the time to have lunch which had been brought by his lovely wife. He usually told an interesting philosophy on books: "If you know about books, you don't want to sell them. Selling them out means you sell your own children." Now, he was satisfied with this deal because Lin showed much generosity while he was trying to buy the book from h

Reclaim the Ice Crown (Blue Triangle Series #1)

“Not even considering a bit of help?” Alice shrugged. "It's my day off … which is a very rare time I should be maximizing." "What are you reading?" "It's a book called ‘how-to-mind-your-own-business,’" Alice answered, not taking her eyes away from her book. Arth stifled a laugh. "Is there something funny?" Alice put down her book, seemingly pissed now. "So you're reading that book, because you don't know how to mind your own business?" Alice closed her book and then took a deep breath to calm her nerves down. "Can't you just shut your mouth while cleaning?" she said. "For hell’s sake, Arth you’re ruining my one in a lifetime day-off!"

This is one of the best fantasy books I've ever read so far. I strongly recommend it because it is definitely worth the coins spent! I'm in love with the diversity of the characters with each of them having their own stories and and past. Also, when are you going to post the second book???

To be honest, this story isn't badly written at all but you need to add more descriptions. However, there's really something in this book that keeps me on turning the pages. I don't know if it's your writing style, the compelling plot/conflict, or the characters... this story indeed has potential.

Alpha's Mage

Alpha's Mage

Tristan used to say, "Books are my brain's comfort food" His eyes moved up and down the length of the shelf. He had read almost all the books. Every book was hardbound with their names written in gold. He hesitated for a moment, too reluctant to touch something so beautifully kept. As he scanned the bookshelf once again, deciding from where to start, his eyes stopped on the third book in 'Lord of the Rings' series. Tristan loved to keep his books in order. He frowned. That's strange. He doesn't remember Tristan owning another copy of the third book as he clearly remembers that he had borrowed the book and then forgot to give it back. The third book is with him ever since then. That time it w

I am such an idiot. I’ve had this book in my library for an entire month before I decided to give this book a try and I am full of regrets. From beginning to end, this story has been fast past but very detailed, not jeopardizing the plot. I am in love with this book and intrigued by the plot
