When I was put in a sack and thrown into a garbage truck, all the affection I held for my family completely disappeared. I was transported out of the city and tossed onto a windy plain. I huddled up and waited for my power to fully recover. Unfortunately, I was discovered by some zombies. Exhausted, I barely managed to pull out a motorcycle. The zombies chased relentlessly as I fled. I had no idea how far I was from the base. Suddenly, I saw a factory that had no zombies around it!

It was just as Peter had guessed earlier. The villagers of Everstream who had died under strange circumstances had all turned into zombies. Watching this scene unfold, Darren felt terrified and shaken to the core. Tears streamed down his face as he cried out, "What kind of cursed situation is this? Why have they all turned into zombies?" Cassian remained silent as she studied the zombies briefly before saying, "One is missing." "Are you talking about the doctor who died, Dr. York?" Darren asked. "When the doctor died, they took his body back to the town and cremated him."

I sighed wishing they would hurry up and let us board. The flight home wasn't bad, the first class section hardly had anyone in it. I read most of the way home to keep my mind off of Seth and on the Zombie apocalypse. I was obsessed with anything Zombie related.
