She ran her finger down the dusty spines, pausing at a heavy book titled "The History of Elementals." She pulled the massive cream leather book off the shelf and settled in the corner, crossing her legs and resting the book on her lap. She turned the yellowed pages, running her finger over the black embossed words.

She grabbed a thick book and pulled it off the shelf before returning to her seat. She placed the book on the coffee table in front of me so I could see it. My eyes widened when I saw the gorgeous purple and white designs on the book with dark purple lettering that read: Spell Book. “A spell book?” I gasped, running my fingers down the front cover. “Is this real?” She nodded.

Empty. Good. No whispers. Just rows of books that smelled faintly of dust and old leather. I drifted between shelves, trailing my fingers along worn spines. “Herbs of the Southern Marsh,” “Defense Spells of the Fifth Era,” “Principles of Alchemy.” My guards hovered like anxious statues. And then— I stopped. My hand froze on a spine I hadn’t seen in years. The leather was scuffed, the gold lettering half-burnt, but my heart recognized it before my mind did.

We follow him to the library where Buppig has been teaching me my lessons every day. I stop beside Buppig as Ailduin walks to one of the library walls. He pulls down a small book, bringing it back to the table where we’re standing. I walked over to it, running my fingers over the cover. It was old and worn, but it looked like it might be interesting. I opened it, blowing off the dust, and began to flip through the pages. As I read, I realised it was some kind of spellbook. The words were in an ancient language, but the diagrams and illustrations were fascinating. I wondered if any of the spells might help me get out of this situation.

Soon after, Queen Suna's personal maids came into her room, bathed her gently and respectfully dressed her up in her night rope. Making sure she was alone, Suna walked towards the bookshelf by the side of her room. With eyes glued on books neatly arranged, her eyes fell on a book with a brown leather cover. Carefully she held the spell book and her eyes glittered in satisfaction. She walked towards her mirror, looked at her reflection and back to the book. With long pointed and piercing nails, she flipped through the pages of the book and her eyes rested on a page filled with spell words.
