The Alpha King's Innocent Breeder

The Alpha King's Innocent Breeder

I said looking at him. "Read", he replied frowning his face. I went through the chapter, and it talked about how one should take good care of his or her car. And also knowing the basic parts of the car. "Go to the next chapter", he said. I turned to the next chapter, and I ended up reading the book. When I was done, I handed the book to him. "Keep it, you will need it", he said. "Start the car", he said to me. I turned on the car waiting for his next instruction, because one of the rules in the book was, "Don't do anything until you are instructed to do so". He looked at me and smiled, "I see, that's a good start". "Come over, let me have the wheel", he said as he went out of the

His Captive Mate

His Captive Mate

Eva comes and adds another book. This continues for a few minutes before Eva gives up. She’d kept ten books balanced easily. Her neck aches, but she has clearly shown the poise Eva is looking for. Eva takes the books back, and asks Celine to do the same thing, this time without the books. Eva watches closely, but seems to find no fault in how she was walking now. Eva nods, and holds out three different and slightly thicker books.

The Lost Princess of the Orphanage

The Lost Princess of the Orphanage

I finally spotted the world’s least exciting textbook and shimmied it out from the shelf. Three steps later, everything went wrong. My vision greyed out again, worse than ever. My still-weak body, protesting its overuse, staggered forward before crumpling at the knees. Bozkurt’s terrible book went flying as I dropped towards the hard tile floor. Suddenly there were strong arms around my waist, grabbing me and pulling me in to stop my fall – Vincent had caught me. Which meant I was in his arms, leaning against him, pressed flush against his lithe body.

PHEROMONE BLIND

PHEROMONE BLIND

He stretched onto his toes, trying to slide the heavy book into place. "It's just a little..." Further. His fingertips barely reached the shelf. "I almost—" The ladder shifted. Lucas's eyes widened. "Oh!" His foot slipped. Everything happened in an instant. The ladder tilted sideways. The thick book slid from his hands. Before he could hit the floor, a strong arm wrapped firmly around his waist. Another hand caught his wrist. The falling book landed with a loud thud. Silence filled the aisle. Lucas blinked. He wasn't falling anymore.

Puck Me, One More Time

Puck Me, One More Time

He was walking without seeing much of what was in front of him. I stepped into his path at an angle. He did not see me until he was close and then I nudged his shoulder — not hard, just enough contact to interrupt the autopilot he was running on. The effect was immediate and so he lost his footing slightly with his momentum shifting, while the sketchbook shifted under his arm. And his body tilting in a way that meant he was going to have to catch himself.

Fated to The Northlord

The rest of the page was blank There was nothing about their gifts and nothing in this book helped with unblocking Kris. The last book was the orange one and it was completely blank not a single letter was found in the book. I shook my head, even magic played games with me. I sat the orange book down thinking about going on a search of my own to see if this place was holding back on me when my eyes caught the giant red book in the middle of the table I didn't even hear it land on the table.

Rise of the Alpha Queen

Rise of the Alpha Queen

“Please tell me you have a plan that doesn’t involve us putting all of these books back by hand.” A grin spreads across my face. Turning my attention back to the tables covered in books, I chant the words that I’ve said thousands of times over my life. Magic begins to swirl around us. Books quickly lift from the tables, flying through the air as they make their way to their place on the shelves. “Oww…” Kenji yelps, rubbing the back of his head. “That book hit me.” A scowl covers his face. A chuckle rumbles up my chest. “You have to watch out for items flying through the air.” I move my head to the left, avoiding being the next one to get hit in the head with a book. Jamari shakes her head at

Everything inside me goes still. My mind tries to reject it, but my body reacts first. My eyes stay locked on the words in disbelief. My knees buckle. The book falls from my hand and lands on the floor with a heavy thud. I barely feel myself going down. One second ago I was standing, and now I am on the ground. The cold stone bites into my palms as I try to steady myself too late. The hidden library looks like what they haven’t taken care of in a long while, so the floor looks dirty and rusted.

His Christmas Mate

His Christmas Mate

As I stretched my arm out to grab it, my fingers brushed against something else. Something solid. I frowned and leaned closer. There was a book under the shelf. Not on it. Under it. It was wedged tightly between the back of the shelf and the wall. Only the corner of it was visible. It looked like it had been pushed there on purpose. My curiosity stirred. “That’s strange,” I whispered. I tried to pull it out but it wouldn’t move. It was stuck tight. I shifted my position and tried again, using both hands. I tugged carefully at first. Then harder.

Luna of the Menae

Luna of the Menae

There is no mate bond, but having him close makes me feel more secure. “I can’t wait for you to see this.” He rubs his thumb on the top of my hand as he leads me to a store. It’s rare Bronx gets so excited about surprising me. We approach a bookstore with a dusty, old window display. In gold paint, there is a picture of a pan flute and a goat. The images are peeling and sundried as if they’ve been there forever. Over the pictures are the words ‘The Barded Goat Used & Collectible Books’.

This story was “ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL”!! I love love loved it!! So well written & very descriptive!! The characters had such depth! My favourite characters were Bronx and Kas(Iokaste), of course!! They went through “SO” much, but made it through!!
Sarah Geer
Love this book and this author. She has found a way to write two books that seem like completely different stories but then happen to intertwine at an unexpected point. Ever chapter she posts leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!
