Great Suspense Books Novels & Stories

Most things are about detectives and all their boring stuff but something tells me to go through it because I might know a thing or two. I've opened almost all the books on the first shelf. Turns out detective books are not so bad. I also passed out my time by checking some of the murder novels on the shelve. One really caught my interest. Dying to call you by Elaine Viet. It's about a girl finding her sister's murderer and all that.

His other hand was in the pocket of his coat. "Okay, let's go then," I mumbled to myself and put the bowl in the lock. The fret jumbled as it turned into it. Click. With a quick step to the side, out of the line of fire, I yanked the door open. Nothing happened. I waited, but no proles jumped out to pounce on us. The empty frame was like a dark throat into another dimension. Not even a breeze dared to move in these seconds. Boiler rooms had always seemed suspicious to me and having a monster lurking down there didn't make it any better at that moment.

Is this some kind of unforeseen battle or something’ He ran his hand over his hair in frustration as he remembered a particular book his grandfather gave him. It was a book titled :DREAMS AND THEIR MEANING. He cursed himself for forgetting to bring it along with him to the school. That book could really come in handy right now. Speaking of his grandfather, it had been a while since he saw him. He smiled as he remembered the times when he visited him and they would talk about old times. Particularly the years between Daniel’s father and himself.
