Book Stuck In Neutral Novels & Stories

It's all in here, and I just stare at them. Holding the book I was reading, I decided to put it back on the shelf, and look for one again. A book with the same cover like the one with Sebastian caught my attention but it's too high for me to reach so I took my chair and put it under the shelf. I stepped on it and took the book I wanted. I smiled as I finally reached it but for some reason while I was going down, the chair broke its one leg. The things here were just old and can not stand so much pressure that's why it collapsed.

I walked to the library and sat next to the window, I looked at my project and now I need to find some books. I walked through the bookshelfs and search for the architect section. I'm looking for a watertank and some electric placement book. I looked through every book clearly and oh there it is. I tried to reach it but I can't. It's on the top of the bookshelf, I need to take a ladder. I walked away to grab the ladder. I got back to the architect section again and I put the ladder to reach the book but the book is gone. Suddenly I found the book on the middle shelf, I looked around. I guess someone must have been taking it and put it there.

He told me as he took the books from me. I smiled and did not protest. I walked inside the bus and he followed. It was a jam-packed vehicle and all seats were taken so we really have to stand up. I inserted myself in between all these people and stopped on the third row where there was an unexpected space. I looked behind and saw Knight following after me, stopping just in front of me. “This thing is crazy.” He told me as he held onto the deck, a bit shaking because he is not used to standing on a bus ride.

So why did something like that happen at the most disadvantageous time? Because he had not been able to build the perfect secure space for it, he placed it among the ordinary books in hope of it going unnoticed. However, when he ran his fingers through the row of books, he could not feel that one book which was supposed to be there. His heartbeat immediately accelerated, it’s the equivalent of losing your phone in the modern day. Someone like hom who was mostly cold headed suddenly became anxious, out of all things in the world, it was one of the few things he absolutely could not let go because the consequence of misuse of the book could lead to a terrible disaster.

“ I got a handbook on it!. He stood up, stepped closer and took a seat close to Lena. When he did this Lena gasped, adjusted and shifted but Jayden followed until there wasn't any space to shift to. Lena swallowed hard, forced a smile and remained still. “ Like I said earlier, this tiny book contains everything and this…” he flipped through the tenth page, “ is just a summary of everything. It all contains the engine and like you may know the buyers would want to know more about the engine than the car.” Jayden explained, at this point Lena could feel his breath on her skin.

Sienna The suffocating silence of the bar seemed to press down on my chest like a physical weight, making it incredibly hard to draw a full breath. I slowly pulled my hand back out of the hidden compartment beneath the dark marble counter, my knuckles scraping lightly against the wood of the interior frame. Wrapped securely in my trembling fingers wasn't a stash of unmarked cash, a black ledger, or a modern weapon. It was just a book. A thick, heavy, dust-jacketed volume that had been tucked away into the hollowed-out space of the bar.

"What are you doing in there?" He started marching across the carpet. *Fifty percent.* Stepping directly into the aisle, I didn't think. I just moved. Catching the edge of a rolling cart loaded with heavy, leather-bound reference encyclopedias, I yanked it violently toward me. The cart tipped. Hundreds of pounds of books crashed onto the floor, the sound exploding like a bomb in the silent archive. Barnes flinched, spinning toward the noise. "What the hell?" Dropping to my knees among the scattered books, I clamped both hands over my chest and began to hyperventilate.

She dug her fingers between the pages, trying desperately to get it open, but it wouldn’t move. “Stupid book.” “Uh, guys?” Isaac called, sounding panicked and a bit surprised. They turned towards him, seeing him with a book in his hands that looked like the very existence of supernaturals. He met their eyes, and the shock and uncertainty made Syanna’s stomach fall. “You have to see this.”

"The car's on! Come on, come on, come on! Before it dies again!" Slamming the hood, Jacob quickly walks around the side. Nicholas opening the door for him, Jacob jumps in, and the second I hear his ass hit the seats, I stomp on the gas. The car shoots forward, and we all cheer as we drive to the abandoned bunker. However, while the kids are cheering, the car starts to slow. "What the hell?" Rebecca asks, looking at me. "No, no, no!" No matter how many times or how hard I stomp on the gas, the car won't speed up. It shakes and jumps before finally slowing to a complete stop, letting out one last burst of black smoke.

I drop the book in my arms to save myself. It takes me a second to realize I'm clutching his arms—his very solid, muscular arms. My nails are digging into his black work shirt. Focus, Nora. As I hold onto his arms and he still has his hand around my arm, we both slowly look down at the book, which has fallen on the floor between us with the soft pages down. It stays up in an awkward position for one second and slowly falls over, bending the cover page that is on the bottom. We both look at the book, and silence falls.
