It was almost like a vacation from her current situation. When she felt the sun's heat starting to burn her skin, she decided to leave the beach and return to the cabin she was occupying. She quickly washed her feet before climbing into bed to continue reading the fiction novel she had bought outside the resort. She would go swimming later, when the hot weather subsided. With that, Jack seemed to relax back into his chair. “Isn’t that what vacations are for? To have experiences that you don’t usually have in your everyday life?” he asked putting his menu down. I bit my bottom lip before answering. “I suppose so. Vacations are for experiences we don't usually have in our everyday lives. Most people don’t get to lounge around and eat bonbons all day, so that is a vacation for them. My flight was in an hour, and I felt relieved to be finally getting out of here. I didn’t even say goodbye to Clay, and I knew him very well; he’s going to be pissed off. I sat down and made myself comfortable. It was awfully cold inside. I took a book to pass the time and began to read "Haunting Adeline"; it’s one of my favorite books, and I’ve read it more than ten times. “Excuse me?” I was so engrossed in the book that I didn’t hear the woman standing in front of me.

I had made a list of books I'd be reading during the break. Visiting the library was one of the things I enjoyed during the holiday. V. Sitting in the back of Alpha Jackson's big SUV I had my eyes closed. Not asleep, just resting. The Alpha, Luna, and three boys were sending me to the airport.
