Too Late To Regret, Ex Husband

Too Late To Regret, Ex Husband

The air hostess already helped me unfold the chair into a mini bed. I strapped myself into the belt so that whatever had just happened would not repeat itself again. I needed distance. Not just physically, but mentally. To keep myself grounded, to distract myself from him and everything that had just happened, I pulled out a novel, “Nearly All Men in America Are Crazy” from my handbag and began to read. *** Lucas’ POV My heart sank when I saw the novel she began to read. I knew that book. It was a bestseller that many women rushed to buy to understand how to understand the plans of men against them.

Daddy's Pet.

Daddy's Pet.

Owens, and my eyes just lock onto him, and I find myself getting distracted. “Stop it,” I growl, throwing my book down after rereading the same page for the fourth time. “You can’t act like this with a man who is to become your family!” That was it. I needed to do something. I needed to find a way to distract myself and move on, and the only way to do such a thing was to implement my plan of finding a vacation fling. I was certain that it wouldn’t be too hard to find a guy who would be willing to spend the rest of my vacation with me.

Marked by betrayal, bound to the Lycan Lord.

Marked by betrayal, bound to the Lycan Lord.

And No messes to clean up, no enemies to threaten, and definitely no crying women. Just me, a drink, a good book and a long-overdue vacation. I reached into the side cabinet and pulled out the old worn novel Viktor gave me years ago. He said it would "teach me patience." Still haven't finished it but maybe now I will. I flipped open to the chapter I last remembered, letting my fingers trace the underlined phrases. And just as I was about to like the book, a scream rang out from behind. Nah, I wasn't liking the book. But it was better than what was going to come after that scream.

No Vacation for Me? Enjoy My Disappearance

No Vacation for Me? Enjoy My Disappearance

The ice-cold droplets beat down on my shoulders, biting and bone-chillingly cold. In the past, whenever it rained, Leonard would always show up right on time, holding an umbrella to pick me up. Today, however, he was nowhere to be seen. Drenched and disheveled, I made my way back home in the rain. The moment I pushed the door open, a wave of warmth and laughter washed over me, making me feel utterly out of place. The Crosses sat in a circle in the living room, sorting through their vacation clothes and double-checking their travel itinerary. The excitement in their eyes was impossible to hide. Tomorrow, they would be boarding a flight to a tropical island.

His Gaze Beneath the Moon

His Gaze Beneath the Moon

I need to take time. I remember the small room I entered last time. I slowly opened the door and turned on the lampshade. The books on the table were still scattered. I tried to look and read each one of them. These are all interesting books. Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and a lot more. I tried to find something that might help me, but I found nothing.

Siren and Wolf

Siren and Wolf

"I don't know the story. We will find out on the tour. Breakfast ends and with it a sense of urgency to go to my father's library. I find the book that I was embarrassed to read in front of Aiden and pick it up. It's about to get saucy and heavy in my novel that's the way I like it. I read for the next several hours until the lunch bell rings. I set a timer in the kitchen and it's time for me to prepare our picnic. I put my book in my backpack for safekeeping. You never know when you need to read a sexy scene during a boring historical tour of a prison on an island. I haven't been to Siren's Point I always saw it from my grandfather's fishing boat. It looks like an abandoned castle through t

Alpha Knight's Cursed Mate

Alpha Knight's Cursed Mate

I missed my mate, my freedom, my friends, Kailin, and everyone at the vineyards. I watched a series about a group of delinquent kids born in space and dropped to Earth to see if the air was already breathable. I finished Episode twelve, and when a particular character pissed me off, I turned it off and went to read something in the study. There were some fiction books, but primarily old books from Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, and Herman Melville. There were self-help and meditation books and a book about mystical creatures. I walked out of the study. If she allowed me to read a book about witchcraft, it might interest me, but that would be as dangerous as walking into the darkness without

The Fontaines of Hollywood series: The Lies Between the Lines

The Fontaines of Hollywood series: The Lies Between the Lines

After that, I spend an hour in the gym downstairs, and then I grab some lunch before wandering into the rec room with a book my dad sent me called Finding Your Center: The Busy Woman's Guide to Inner Peace and Tranquility. I make it three pages before I start to feel antsy. It's too easy to let my mind wander while I'm reading. My thoughts keep going back to my argument with Luca last night. Or to our practice session last week. Or to a dozen other little things I've promised myself I won't think about.

The Unexpected Mate

The Unexpected Mate

Zayden As soon as I got done showering, I hurried and dried my body and hair, put on my clothes and walk out the door. I see my little mate sitting in the chair I left her in but with a book in hand. I slowly walk over to her and lean on the back of the chair. I notice she is reading my favorite book. Catch 22 by Joseph Heller. “How do you like it so far?” I startled her apparently as she jumped as soon as I asked the question.

Liliana
I really and truly LOVED this book. Yes, the ending was unexpected. Everleigh is too powerful and should be mated to only one fae mate. Or a fae/werewolf one. Grey and Zayne weren’t able to appreciate her. Actually, no one was able to appreciate her true self. I’m relieved she left them all.
Laura Wallinger
this was a GREAT book. I loved it the entire time. But the ending sucks. please tell me you left it like that to write a sequel if nor please add 1 or 2 chapters that say what happens to them all. like dies Eve make a new better life for herself? does Grey get another chance to be happy?

Can an Evil Lady Change

Can an Evil Lady Change

And all I have to say is. Life is hard as an aristocrat. I mean every single day I have to put up a fake smile in front of those disgusting nobles. I wish I had a vacation. And that is why I've decided that today... I will visit a Library...! That's right...! A library...! Right now, what I need most is a vacation of some sort. Which is why I decided to take a break today. I'm pretty sure that this era had a lot of famous Romance novels...!
