Bane of the Dragons

Bane of the Dragons

Hello, everyone! This is XSkylar19. It has been a very interesting ride for me while writing Bane of the Dragons because (fun fact) this was my very first dragon genre. I know some of you probably disliked how everything turned out or how fastpaced everything happened but know that this was intentional as I couldn't drag the story on. Anyway, while this book becomes the first book for dragon genre, it certainly wasn't my first book in the fantasy genre.

The Alpha's Dragon

The Alpha's Dragon

Inside the tavern, mugs rattled on the wooden counter, and every time someone spoke of dragons, the fire seemed to shrink in its hearth. “Only fools say dragons can die,” muttered the barkeep, wiping his mug with a cloth already soaked in fear. “I saw one once. Young, maybe no bigger than a cottage, and it burned half a valley before I could blink. Rumors that followed said that a pretty lass in that nation refused the dragon's advances.” A younger man laughed, though it came out thin and nervous. “Aye, but even dragons have blood. Enough dragonsbane and—” “Enough dragonsbane to buy a well developed kingdom,” interrupted an older hunter, his voice low, his eyes clouded from too much smoke an

she repeats. "Okay," I mutter, flipping back to the beginning of the book. "The earliest texts speak only of dragons. They have existed for thousands of years alongside the witches and the angels―" "Wait is this based on a true story or something?" Diana interrupts with wide eyes. "Definitely not. The angels in this story are way different and as far as I know, dragons aren't real," I sigh. "You sound disappointed." "Well don't you think it'd be cool to meet a dragon?"

Wynter giggled. We ate breakfast and Wynter seemed like himself. Echo slept a lot and Abeloth said that’s what baby dragons needed to do, they grew when they slept. I had called the Elders of Florida to inform them that Wynter had merged with his dragon and they outright laughed at me.

Lust of a Dragon

Lust of a Dragon

"Tell me everything your parents told you about my family." I sighed, a shameful blush coating my ears. I could still feel the burn behind my ear. It felt raw, especially as blood rushed in a telltale flush. "They told me a lot of things. And, I'm going to preface this by saying I thought the dragon thing was a metaphor. I didn't know it was a literal thing." Thane laughed suddenly. "So sirens, sorceresses, chimeras, all valid and real, but you draw the line at water dragons?"

The Legendary Mage and Her Golden Dragon

The Legendary Mage and Her Golden Dragon

With the knowledge of his past lives he had deduced that the birthmark of the dragons must have appeared on his wrist when he turned 18, and that was why the Prophets had been able to locate him. And the mages this time must have remembered their past mistakes and made him undetectable so that the Prophets could not spot him until he was strong enough to defend himself... Just the fact that the golden dragon was on Astoria, which was a world in the intermediate plane of existence, showed how careful the humans had been.

Taran relaxes next to me, and his playful smile is back, “Mating is hard to describe. But I will do my best to explain. A special ritual is done so that the human and dragon share a life, then the stone allows for conception. The baby is born human but shifts into its true form soon after birth. Whatever magic the child possesses will be recognized early in their life. Typically, within the first four years. Until the age of seventeen, they progress at the normal human rate. Then, aging begins to slow down. They aren’t typically considered adults until around seventy and don’t often mate until around two hundred. The Dragon Prince's Thief

The Dragon Prince's Thief

I thought with a scornful look on my face. "I can't wait to control their feeble mind," Kendra, my dragon, said with an excited look. "For making fun of how I looked." This war had started years ago when I first accidentally found a book titled the first dragons. And then someone helped me to know more about the first dragons, and their history. Everything started with that first book. The book was buried deep in the depth of a library, and that was the only print, I had found out later. The fascination became obsession and the obsession became need.

Vera and Mateo are my OTP. Books should have men like Mateo. No abuse, no Rejection and no weak characters that makes you want to stop. Every page is filled with flirty banters, sweet and steamy moments and mystery that unfolds throughout the book. This book shouldn't be missed. something different.

Another great book from one of my favourite authors. You can't help but fall in love with Vera and Mateo. Their chemistry is off the charts, and the banter between characters will have you coming back for more.

ERAGON THE DRAGON PRINCE

ERAGON THE DRAGON PRINCE

Elizabeth packs her beautiful blond hair in a ponytail as she widens her red ruby eyes as well in suspense. “Dragons!”Historia begins. “Those scary looking, regal gigantic birds, with ginormous bar-like wings and heads like huge lizards clustered with horns and impregnable scales. They have long bard tails like armored horses, and sharp-clawed teeth that can rip you apart and chew your bones. They spit out volcanic fire that can devour a whole city.
