Elika smiled slightly, bobbing her head to show that she understood. She lowered her eyes back to the floor, finding nothing more to say to the dark lord as her smile dropped. She understood a person’s need for religion, but the princess did not hold the same ones as her people. Instead, she believed in what nature held; in the promise of being reborn into the circle that existed around all things that breathed.
