[Kael] After talking to Aira and Terrence, I decided to investigate more on the mysterious person that's been supporting Natalia. I had thought that Natalia probably tricked someone in London to give her some funding. What kind of person would just let someone do illegal things under their funding? I don't think someone would be that stupid however, I could be wrong. There's a possibility that that person could have known about everything and is still willing to help Natalia despite all of the illegal things she's been doing. I also hired investigators in London to help with the search. Any information on that person could change everything.

David chuckled and resumed his fiddling. The research tab had various sub-tabs: the scientific research and the magic research tabs had a little text that said "no available knowledge," an incomplete map, and a bestiary with only one creature: lesser abyssal skeleton. The Journal had the quest he had accepted and every feat he has ever done. The "Appretincementship" quest failed for obvious reasons, so it didn't show up on the interface. Plus, don’t you want to know more about the quest?” Lin would have scolded the girl and left if she was not dying to know more about the quest so she could win it. But she couldn’t. So she pushed her worry aside and closed the distance between her and Jenny. “Take my hand and know all that I know…” Jenny said in a breathy way before chanting a few words that were foreign to any language known to man.

This was undoubtedly the work of Zane, a lazy one at that. “We would be happy to assist you.” Luka answered the man, without batting an eye. A message popped up in front of us, asking if we wanted to accept the quest. Although we didn’t know what we were doing, we both accepted it anyway. There was no time for questions. The faster we completed the quest, the sooner we could move on. “Careful, something doesn’t seem right with this.” Luka whispered after we accepted it and began following the older man without him telling us what we were going to be doing.

"To see a friend." my reply was curt. "Who—" he immediately cut himself off as if realizing the inappropriateness of his question. "It doesn't matter," he mumbled. I had no idea if it was meant for me to hear, but I did regardless, and it sounded like a pathetic attempt to find out if the friend in question was a man or a woman. "What happened last night..." he began, but the words died on his lips as Diego suddenly appeared from nowhere.
