1st Death

1st Death

Margaret had just finished tucking the Baron to in his royal bed when she noticed the sun hugging the edge off of the horizon. Before leaving, she looked around one more time to recall if she’s forgotten something. He has one of those bed princesses used to have during the medieval era. Only, it’s colored red rather than white. The tucker just had one last remark for the tucked. "Just remember to tell Ed to put the medicines back in the correct order. Seriously, it's like talking to a wall." She was fixing the doohickeys in the cabinet. The Baron nodded.

How We End

How We End

I took a slice of pizza and bit into it, "So, what've you got so far?" "Okay…" Kyle drank from the coke bottle and placed it on the coffee table. He hit a few keys on his keyboard and said, "According to G****e, Medieval literature is any work written in Latin or the vernacular between c. 476-1500 CE, which includes philosophy, religious treaties, legal texts and works of the imagination." I typed the words his spoke into my laptop as he spoke, "So, we start with that before moving to the medieval romance." "Exactly." He looked at me, eating from his pizza slice. "What do you feel romance in the Medieval times was like?"

PRETEND YOU MINE

PRETEND YOU MINE

"The woman in the painting is called Lady Percival, right? Isn't Percival the knight who found the Holy Grail in the King Arthur legend?" "Good God, Ethan!" She grabbed my arm in excitement. "Of course! Percival ...it's her story. You figured it out! Lady Percival is holding a very rare book in- deed. I knew it was something special! One of the first King Arthur stories ever written down; all the way back in the twelfth century. That book is Chrétien de Troyes's The Story of Perceval and the Grail." She gazed at the painting, her face glowing with happiness and pure joy, and I reached for my mobile and snapped a picture of her. A magnificent profile shot of Brynne smiling at her Lady Perciva

My Alpha, My Bodyguard

My Alpha, My Bodyguard

At the very least, she was relieved to escape the confined space of the kitchen. As Marcus worked at the sink, Vivienne wandered back into the front room where her curiosity got the better of her. She drifted over to the bookshelf in the corner of the room, her fingers tracing the spines of the array of worn paperbacks and hardcovers in a variety of colours and sizes. Expecting to find typical bodyguard or espionage novels, she was taken aback to discover a collection dominated by high fantasy titles and series. Lord of the Rings, The Way of Kings, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Witcher, there was even a collection of classic fairytales.

Payment To the Alpha

Payment To the Alpha

Some books had the history of the Knights, dating back centuries. Others told about different creatures, how they lived, drawings of how they looked, and about how they functioned. Unfortunately, many of them also told about how to kill them, which I didn't really like but I understood how the information must’ve been useful back when you needed to defend yourself from them. We’re protected now, the borders and the guards as well as having emerged into human society. I dragged my hands over a few dusty books and sighed. I didn’t even know where to begin. Which shelf? Color? Which of the hundred books would tell me what I needed to know?

Ryder; Lord of Astaroth

Ryder; Lord of Astaroth

In the medieval times, where the myths we know of were spun from, there was a season of lords and knights, of witches and sorcerers, of magic and spells, of curses and plagues, of love and sacrifices, and of war and blood. Several kingdoms existed, kingdoms spread out far and wide, and having borders that greatly separated them from one another, far into the east and even into the north, where the cold that ravaged there froze life, but still people thrived in these kingdoms.

Lost to Earth: Book Three

Lost to Earth: Book Three

Lastly, men in chain mail and armor were strutting around, their spurs clanging with each step as the men approach their giant mounts. The horses are also in armor with a boy holding the reins. I am in the Medieval -Fucking-Times! And I'm not talking about the restaurant with the jousting in New Jersey! 4 The sight would be a historian's wet dream! A history minor myself, I was awestruck about my current placement in time. But the reality was also setting in because the Medieval Times was a place of barbarism and cruelty, veiled in chivalry. What a hypocritical time this

Alpha Knight's Cursed Mate

Alpha Knight's Cursed Mate

I missed my mate, my freedom, my friends, Kailin, and everyone at the vineyards. I watched a series about a group of delinquent kids born in space and dropped to Earth to see if the air was already breathable. I finished Episode twelve, and when a particular character pissed me off, I turned it off and went to read something in the study. There were some fiction books, but primarily old books from Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, and Herman Melville. There were self-help and meditation books and a book about mystical creatures. I walked out of the study. If she allowed me to read a book about witchcraft, it might interest me, but that would be as dangerous as walking into the darkness without

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

Jacob ignored him as he strode out of the car, but that was when Raymond spoke audibly from Zachary's phone, "You can calm down. I'm not accusing you of lying to me. I just think that it's not Renaissance… Rather, it's medieval." "E-Early medieval…?" Billy was left baffled, and as he was poor with history, he couldn't help asking, "When, exactly?" "Generally, it's agreed that it extends from the 500s to the 1500s," Raymond replied. "The Renaissance is a period where the medieval period concludes, so there's a huge distinction." Jacob returned to the car right then, withdrawing the one leg that had just started to reach out as he turned toward Zachary in shock, "Wait, didn't Mr. Cardensky say

Disgraceful

Disgraceful

The minute the sight caught her eye, Ava got momentarily speechless. Standing against the backdrop of towering trees and mountain chains, the house was nothing short of picturesque. The fading daylight turned the old brick wall into a delusive shade of gold. It was an ancient Medieval castle, along with towers and turrets like it came straight out of a fairy tale. Ava tipped her head back, peering up at the lofty towers in dazed wonder. "This castle must be built in the fifteenth century. It's exactly like what I read in the storybook."
