The Mafia Bride Of The Police

The Mafia Bride Of The Police

Frustrated Bella asked her doctor. George smiled softly, "After counselling you for a long time, I have to agree it can be related to your past life.. But I'm a doctor. I have to be logical." He paused. "Nightmares can be caused by extreme pressure or irritation if no other mental disorder is discovered. The death of a loved one or a stressful life event can be enough to cause a nightmare but mental conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder and other psychiatric disorders have been known to cause nightmares as well. If the individual is on medication, the nightmares may be attributed to some side effects of the drug." George said.

Married to nightmare

He exhaled a deep breath and then rubbed his face with both of his palms. I waited for his next reaction but nothing came out from his mouth. He just stared at the floor. I licked my lips in hesitation and tried to figure out the strange expression he has on his face. "As long as I remember, sleep was never my thing because whenever I tried to sleep, I was afraid of having a nightmare." "See the irony the person who himself call as nightmare was really scared of them." He added and closed his eyes again. I quietly looked at him, waiting for his next words.

In a nightmare

In a nightmare

-I'll fight my fears, Jay, I'll do it for you -I walked over and sat to the side across from him- I promise you my monsters won't defeat me. I realized that what he said was true, I had died in my sleep, one of my fears was to sleep and be trapped in one of my nightmares, not knowing what was real or not. This thing I was living was like a very bad nightmare. And there were monsters lurking: Death, damned souls, and God knows what else I'd be about to discover. Once upon a time a girl was trapped in a nightmare with many monsters to face, Once upon a time a girl was afraid of the dark, demons were about to cross over.

DEATH REINCARNATE

DEATH REINCARNATE

Telling him the exact old told tale. “Don’t you remember those happy voices in your mind as you sleep? Or maybe the screams you hear of terror in a nightmare. What is a nightmare? Isn’t a nightmare a small prison you’re trapped in, with no hopes of waking? Why? Because you never know you’re asleep. You forget everything, your name, your life, and who you are. The only thing to accompany you are the monsters that laugh in your mind, that taunt you, knowing everything. Your life, your happiness, everything that had been stolen away. But the scariest part of the nightmare won’t be the monsters. They aren’t scary themselves. The most fearful thing of all is that they are yours. That you can hear

Blood Wedding: A Mafia Romance

Blood Wedding: A Mafia Romance

What could possibly go wrong? I closed my eyes and tried to rest but my brain wouldn't shut off. Just kept circling through the same information over and over, trying to make connections that weren't there yet. Eventually I gave up and grabbed a book from the shelf. Some thriller that Rosa had probably left there thinking I'd want something to read. I got maybe three pages in before my eyes started to hurt from being tired and I put it down again. This was going to be a long day. And an even longer night, based on how the last few had gone. The nightmares were getting worse. Every time I closed my eyes I was back in that bedroom with Rafael bleeding on top of me, seven shots echoing in my he

Sophia finally left, after telling Ethan to take good care of me, at least he did a good job that night I was able to fall asleep in his arms but deep into the night, I had a dream, no that wasn't a dream that was a nightmare I have had so many nightmares in the past. Of course, if you lived the kind of life I had lived, you would understand why I have nightmares almost every night. They say nightmares could arise from stress, anxiety, irregular sleep, medications, and mental health disorders. Some even say nightmares could arise from PTSD. Yes, that's right, post-traumatic stress disorder.

Midnight Horror Show

Midnight Horror Show

“Were these any help, detective?” “I’m afraid not,” I said, defeated. I was in a bit of a daze after staring at projected newsprint on the dim screen. I leaned on the desk and looked around the building absentmindedly until my eyes finally settled on a small sign hanging on a table covered with a neat stack of books. “Warning: The Library is Not Responsible for Nightmares!” I read out loud, walking over to look at the books. Well-worn volumes with pink skulls grinning back at me from stickers on their spines. Dracula. Frankenstein. The Invisible Man.

his groggy and deep voice grumbled in the dark. “Something like that, go back to sleep Travis,” I told him. Yes, I still had nightmares about my time in captivity here and so did he. Almost every night, if it wasn’t the tortuous dreams of bear shifters or the dead rogue king invading my subconscious, it was the repetitive reoccurring dream of the library. The same old story, pun intended, of standing there and pages flying from the books, highlighting different words as they embedded into my mind. But it was neither of those dreams that had me waking up in a cold sweat tonight.

JWGStout has done it again! I loved the story and character development. The story really is a roller coaster, and I’m so happy for Lamia! But there are so many questions at the end, and so many opportunities for the other leading characters. I can’t wait to get into the next 3 books!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

Nightmare

Nightmare

My Nightmare Natty's POV It was morning already and last night was a long night. I never knew he was that insatiable.I lot count as to how many times we did it. Thinking about it, I smiled. I looked over to him and smiled more. He was still sleeping like a baby. I tried standing up but I felt pain in my thighs. I tried again but I just groaned. My groaning woke him up,he was baffled and asked. "Baby are you alright..."he asked in a husky voice.

My Running Nightmare

My Running Nightmare

Valerie said as she shuddered. "Yeah. Well, let me get back out there while these are cooking. Don't worry, Val, I'll be careful if that guy comes back in here." "Alright, girl. I'll talk to you later." Tabitha wasn’t going to tell Valerie about the dreams involving Mark. Those were the real nightmares. They had evolved from just him raping her after being with the man she couldn’t see. There were several where he forced himself on her. She shuddered as she thought about those. That was part of her past that she didn’t care to remember.
