Books By Lynn Austin Novels & Stories

I need to be comfortable if I am going to collapse. I pick up a new book to read, it is titled Haunting Adeline and it is a dark romance. I start reading the book to pass the time and about twenty minutes later, “Luna, you were right. Austiin and Cyrus followed him home and when he knocked on the door, a blonde girl opened the door and let him in,” Harlan tells me through our connection.

Whether Austin is the one or not, Shaun would be left with either a cruel ending or a cure to his curse. Grey knows he has to take some risks. The only left thing to do is take the risk even if he has no assurance of what will the outcome will be. He only has one solution to take, that is to purposely let Austin have the very book the keeps the truth about the lycans, The First Born and let her decide; whether after reading the book, she would still be interested in them, or would she be horrified if she finds out the truth.

To think that she'd been watching Rai and I all along was just insane. The door opened and Austin walked in, his eyes widening. "Where did he go?" He asked. "I don't know. He said he has some business to attend to," I replied and he heaved an exasperated sigh. "Let me apologize on his behalf for everything you had to go through because of him," he said and I smiled at him. "You shouldn't." "He isn't the same person you used to know, Lynn. He's barely living at this point. He just doesn't know it yet," Austin said, his eyes reflecting his concern.

I had taken the second sip when Lydia's piercing glare overwhelmed me. “ What?” I asked without looking up. “ You don't look fine. Did something happen with Austin?” Lydia asked, her voice suddenly turning cold. I almost laughed despite my emotional situation. How could I forget that those two never liked each other? Austin said Lydia was a bad influence and Lydia never trusted him. She always said that he was a man who didn't deserve me. Now, looking back, Lydia was right. He never deserved me. My silence was answer enough. Lydia slammed her hand on the table drawing the attention of other patrons.

Isabella thought, "Joseph is much more handsome than Nathan. I wonder if Lydia would faint on the spot if she saw him." Lydia continued, "Although Dr. Austin is very handsome and has a lot of fangirls, he has always been single. He hasn't been seen getting close to any female doctors or nurses. Everyone says he is..." Her voice grew softer as she continued speaking, and for a moment, Isabella didn't react. "He is what?" Lydia tutted, winked at her, and said, "You know it!" Isabella's eyes widened, "Are you saying Dr. Austin is... " Gay?!

Author's POV Austin was roaming in the forest with his men. He was desperately moving in the search of Myra and Aaron. His men were prowling in the dark forest for the whole night. They are not able to find the place. While walking men found Myra lying on the ground and trembling with cold. She was not conscious at all, but none of those men dare to touch Myra. They are afraid of Austin and they know very well that they can't touch her. They informed Martin about Myra and also sent their location to him. Myra was sick and getting cold. They immediately collected some wooden sticks and burn them around her to make her feel hot.

“I can't believe the lengths that some people would go to. Damn!” Suddenly, I notice Austin nudging Amy insistently. I know him quite well, and I know that he's indirectly asking her to stop, but she doesn't stop. Instead, she smiles sweetly at him and speaks. “Poor Austin doesn’t like to have his business in the open for everyone to know, but I think he’s too forgiving. People should know the lengths that some gold-diggers are willing to go just to get a rich man for themselves. Other men should take note.”

It was scorching like a flame and if auras could be tasted, hers would definitely be bitter. I shuddered, walking over to the first aisle to check it out. The first book that caught my attention was Blood, Pawns and Obsession. It was a dark romance by Rylie Martin. I had one of my projects on hold because I wanted to read this book and get into the head of the psychotic male lead, so I would understand him better and be able to execute my plotline to my taste. The grin on my face unconsciously widened, and I brought the book to my nose, sniffing it in.

Another grab for the book and some food, then I crossed my legs and opened my reading books while I ate my sandwich heartily. "Are you reading that ham again?" I felt Wynn's gaze more than I saw him. "It can't be that interesting." But she could only say that because she didn't read anything but mindless teen magazines. "I am learning. Give it a try, it's good for your future. "

Gwyneth looked scared as she glanced back and forth from me to Austin. Kate looked stunning in her dress, it clung to her body and curves deliciously when she stood. It was just a shame about the clunky, pointless jewellery. However Austin’s lips on hers made me look away, catching Luna Madeline’s gaze. I don’t care if that’s a win for Austin, I couldn’t do it.
