I’d actually looked up that book he mentioned – Battlefield of the Gods. It was massive, over seven hundred pages of heavy and complicated shit. At least, that's what I gathered from the few pages on an online library. Bless the 21st century – I didn't even have to go to a physical library anymore; I could hoard knowledge from the comfort of my own bed.

His scent clung to it, subtle and familiar, and my chest tightened. What the hell was I doing? All the books looked well read and I couldn’t hide my surprise.

My heels echoed as I walked inside, drawing stares. And then I saw him. He was already there, I rolled my eyes in my headd, Of course he was. He sat at the far end, back straight, one arm draped over the booth like he owned the place. He'd grown into his bones. The boy I once mocked was gone. In his place was a man with sharp edges and eyes that burned even across the room. His suit looked expensive, but it wasn't the clothes it was the way he wore them. Like nothing could touch him.

I didn't hesitate to go through most of his things and seeing what he had in there ,I couldn't help but laugh . There was just much about him here but I couldn't tell there was a lot more that I could ever think of and staring at the books he had at the end of the room ,my curiosity took the better part of me and I just didn't hesitate to go through most of them but then the books that were here we're all about royalty and how to make a good king and the steps to be a good king . I looked at it with various things going through my head ,why did he have that much stuff just right here ,I just couldn't place my hands on it no matter how hard I tried to ,it was just as if nothing was going to e

I look up at him and I tell him, “I have read this book already, I was not able to read the rest of the books in the series though. Are they here?” When I said I had read the book, he looked sad and disappointed but when I said I had not read the other books in the series, he looked happier. He brought the three other books and he handed them to me, “Thank you. So, what books will you be reading today?” I ask him.
