Not when it feels like swallowing a broken glass every time. There's a loud crash from next door and it makes me jump. Definitely not dead then. Just clumsy. I grab my robe and tiptoe to my front door, pressing my eye to the peephole. The hallway is empty, but I can hear muffled cursing coming from 4B. Deep, masculine cursing that does absolutely nothing for me. Okay, that's a lie. It does something. Something that makes me very aware that I'm only wearing a thin cotton nightgown under this robe.

I missed my mate, my freedom, my friends, Kailin, and everyone at the vineyards. I watched a series about a group of delinquent kids born in space and dropped to Earth to see if the air was already breathable. I finished Episode twelve, and when a particular character pissed me off, I turned it off and went to read something in the study. There were some fiction books, but primarily old books from Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, and Herman Melville. There were self-help and meditation books and a book about mystical creatures. I walked out of the study. If she allowed me to read a book about witchcraft, it might interest me, but that would be as dangerous as walking into the darkness without

She seems nervous. I frown, "Okay, Mom." She opens the door to a room, and I'm speechless, it's not white, it's a deep maroon color. The room is bigger than Lacey's, and that's something I didn't think could be possible. There's a sofa in the corner and beside it is a small bookcase. Walking into the room, I walk over to the bookcase and run my fingers across the spines of the books that are there. Mom went all out. She bought books from my favorite authors. Nora Roberts, Harper Sloan, Carly Phillips, and of course E.L. James. I love the story of Christian and Ana, it's such a beautiful love story.

The door to the restroom opens and Demi steps out into my bedroom. “So, what’s it like being back here?” She asked me. “It’s really surreal. I mean… I can’t explain it. It all feels different.” I pick up a book from my nightstand. Its title reads “Journey to the Center of the Earth”. I let out a sarcastic laugh. It used to be my favorite book. Seeing as how I believe I have lived there for the last two plus years it makes me want to burn this damn book. I put the book down and turn to look at Demi.

I said, grinning from teeth to teeth like a child. We walked into the library. It looked like it had been a while, since it was in use. We went through several sections which included, finance, self-improvement, ethics, business amongst all. I caught a glimpse of a book I had been wanting to read, “Atomic Habits” by James Clear. I picked it immediately, and started going through it. After a while, I noticed I wasn't hearing any sound from the cook. I looked around and found her wiping tears off her eyes with the hem of her apron.

I opened the drawer to next to his desk and found a whole lot of girl under clothes. A whole load of bras and panties! He might as well start his own business with all of them. I ignored the dirty thoughts I was having and went over to his bookshelf which was filled with books. I went over to it and looked at the books. I was expecting mafia books and about guns and fighting but I found romance novels, fantasy and comedy books. I was really surprised. I shrugged and pulled a book from off the shelf. It was a romance novel called "Last Breath". I didn't have books in my room and I loved reading so I sat cross legged in the middle of the room and read.

------------------------------------------------- So first order of business The Guy Next Door is a book on w*****d written by Nylla Camphry. It was the first book I read on w*****d and I recommend you read it if you're old enough. Now sure you're all thinking that the book seems boring with no action and that it doesn't seem like Tara even loves Jeremy. It's almost like Jeremy disappeared and so did school but don't worry. Just a hint, action will happen, people will dies and others will be kidnapped. That is all I can say. I'm wicked so I'll leave you all in suspense.

Liv was usually a neat freak constantly nagging Hannah to clean up either one of her messes or her gear off of the floor. Hannah began to hear soft noises coming from their shared bedroom in their apartment. "What the hell?". Hannah opened the bedroom door and was immedately hit with instant regret. Hannah saw her girlfriend currently in a mess of tangled limbs with another woman, naked in their bed. "Liv! What the hell?!" Hannah screamed. Startled, Oliva jumped up and threw a blanket over herself. "Hannah you're home early! I thought you wern't supposed to be home for another six months?!".

No one has found the bodies yet, though, so theres still a lingering hope out there that they're alive. I sigh as I crawl under the thick quilt, flicking on the lamo beside me as I pull out my latest find at Barnes and Nobels: The Winter Garden by the famous Kristin Hannah. This woman's books are truly amazing. Then, after an hour long reading session, I find my eyes beginning to shut against my will, so I set down the book on the bedside table and shut off the lamp. ~ The next morning...
