Books On Egypt Novels & Stories

He never spoke to me, never even looked up from his reading, but I could feel his presence, a strange energy that seemed to fill the room, making the air in the room change. One night, as I was walking past his table, I glanced down at the open book in front of him. The title page read "Codex Gigas - The Egyptian Book of the Dead." I paused, my curiosity increased. I had heard of the ancient Egyptian funerary text, but I had never seen a copy, let alone one as old and worn as this.

Felicity snuggled into her couch, an Egyptian history book propped on her slightly bent legs. She held a highlighter between her index and middle finger, flicking it back and forth as she perused the chapter on the upper and lower kingdoms. Survey of Egyptian History was one of the most interesting classes she was taking this semester. Lust, power struggles, betrayals, rising and falling empiresit was a history major's dream.

"For the museum." "Ah." The woman's expression brightened with recognition. "You must be from the Metropolitan Museum of Ancient Arts. We get several of your researchers in here. Dr. Hassan was just asking about similar materials last month." Shantali's pulse quickened. "Dr. Hassan?" "Egyptologist on your staff, I believe. Lovely woman, very thorough in her research. She was particularly interested in the Ka-Wadjet prophecies." The librarian pulled up a catalog entry. "Here we are—I can get you started with Blackwood's *Ritual Smoke Practices of the Late Period* and Mahmoud's translation of the *Papyrus of the Serpent's Breath*. Fair warning though, some of the source material suggests these

As she turned the next page, though, she came upon an elaborate color illustration of the Sphinx of Egypt, the sun shining behind it, its rays filling the page, so bright it looked as if it might jump out at her, and as she read the inscription, in tiny letters, she was immensely relieved to discover that the author did, indeed, revisit the topic: Considered the greatest library known to man, the Hall of Records is a mythical lost library containing the most precious scrolls known to man, supposedly hidden under the Sphinx in Egypt. Various theories have the library being built there by aliens, by a civilization ten thousand years old, or by a race of vampires.

I couldn't explain why, but disappointment settled inside me. A ruler that is so powerful… Simply gone? There had to be more of the story. Near the exit stood a small bookshelf filled with archaeological publications. One title immediately caught my attention. ‘The Mystery of Pharaoh Kharef’ so, I picked it up to know more about him. Inside were sketches of damaged temples, fragments of translated inscriptions, and theories written by historians from around the world. Most of the pages ended the same way. Unknown. Missing. Destroyed.

He whispers, “Avery, you and Regina are ours. No bitch before matters. In fact, no bitch matters. You and only you, are what matters. You are ours and we are yours, forevermore.” He kisses me but pulls away quickly because we aren't in our world. We have to appear human. I sighed as I remembered that, too. I ducked under his arm and proceeded to find the Religious Studies section. There, on the third bookcase, in the middle of the third shelf, was the book that my vision foretold. After I plucked A Draconian from its resting place, I sank to the floor. It tells of the rise of the Pharaohs of Egypt, as well as the roots of various religions and rituals. On page 999, I found what I was sent he

In it where greenish slimy substances, “This is what the water truly looks like” Edgar smiled at her proudly. “Woah!” Dylan smiled at her, “That was awesome Cleopatra” Edgar walked towards a small stack of books, looked through them and slipped one out. It was a large book with red leather cover. It was dusty indicating it had not been opened in a long time, “We have been looking in the wrong books Cleopatra”, the book landed with a thud sending dusts in the air, “This is a book on poison”

“So what does this mean? And where are the other two books? Also can you tell me what this book is and what it does?” “I don't really know the entire story behind this book but from the vague description I received from the previous high priestess, the book is said to hold the power to collapse the foundation of every teaching we taught you. But not only that, if all books are opened, they will also remove the gateway between this realm and the other and that would allow the other entities to manifest, so I ask of you, collect the books. Last time, one was recorded to be in Egypt within the tomb of Ozymandus the second.”

It helped her get more relaxed and so she could absorb the lessons easily into her brain, into her subconscious. She started off with Algebra, followed by Humanity, English, Science and lastly, World History. Upon picking up the book of “The Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt,” she felt a vibration—it was almost electric. The book seemed to quiver at her touch, or so she thought. She immediately put it down, afraid to touch it. Her heart was beating so fast. After some minutes of staring at the book, she took a deep breath and touched the said book again. It did not shake this time, so she thought she might just have an illusion on that feeling. Hence, she started reading where their class left off.

Bastet groan while holding her temple in agony from the lingering headache she felt from Zhu Wushang's hell grip. Zhu Wushang checked on the information in the Book of The Dead he got from Bastet with his newfound knowledge of ancient language to see what it was about. The book was about the dead and the ritual to control the dead including the forbidden ceremony to open the gate between the realm of the dead and the realm of the living. This book also references the Black Pyramid, the place where the most powerful mage and Pharaoh in the history of mankind had power rivaling the gods of Egypt's Pantheon.
