I breathed, tracing the delicate, cool veins etched into the stone of the fireplace. "All elves take deep pride in their craft," Cassius said quietly. "For us, time is not an enemy to be conquered, but a medium to be shaped." Our search yielded little more than beautifully bound books of elven histories and fables, none of which told the story of a mass vanishing. We continued on, the weight of the profound silence pressing in, until we stood before a pair of large doors leading back outside. I pushed one open, and the sudden rush of sunlight was a physical blow, forcing me to squint as the world resolved into focus.

The rink along her finger taps about on the wooden, outer exterior. The larger man finds himself in the public library. The establishment is made with countless bookshelves that are on their last leg. It seems that they only stand up out of the will of defiance rather than curiosity about the creature’s knowledge. Among all the peasants that are reading, some are ripping pages out of the book and eating the paper, though these people are poor and few and far between, Garth is still able to beam his eyes around the community and spot them, though he doesn’t say anything. Instead, his right-hand reaches to the top of one of the bookshelves. The top shelves are home to books that have not been

he stopped for a second, clearing his throat, gaze meeting mine, before continuing, quieter this time, "I remembered seeing a copy of an Eleven book somewhere in the castle." "So we do have elven books," I register. The thought is more exciting than I anticipated, "they must be centuries old." The Master agrees, "Yes, but the Elves have mastered the art of preservation. It is not only their lives that could go on for centuries, but even their armor, their plants, and their books," he replied. I am more in awe of this than anything else, "It must have been magic then. To live for centuries?" I ask, searching his eyes.

Resting between two mountains laid a limitless forest rich with life. Growing from the roots of the soil were gigantic sized trees, which the elves used to their advantage and built houses to shelter their people. Besides the greenery of the earth, the elves used ivory stone walls in their architectural designs. The view was magnificent, straight from a fantasy book as an array of flowers, which blossomed brightly, covered the vast territory.

" I ask as we walk back towards the cabin. "You have met the elves and now the lantern man. Then there is the marsh women, the river keepers and sprites. There are also mermaids and mermen". Gudrun answers. "Seriously ?" "Yeah just like there are trolls, fairies and forest elves with the vaetter of the stone and earth". Gudrun says with a laugh. "There are fairies and forest elves too ? So everything from the books is true ?" I ask, wondering how much I really don't know.

He could tell this from their basic living situation. The people he had met where the dark elves lived only had animal skins to cover themselves. They did not even have any facilities to help with their daily lives. As for Eagle City, Chase witnessed various merchants trading. There were even restaurants and bookshops. Chase entered one of the bookshops out of curiosity. He was surprised to see there were many titles to choose from. There were books about basic knowledge of the secret realm and introductions to those in power here. Chase even found so-called treasure maps on sale.

The two girls fished out a towel in Eric’s bag, and they wiped their body dry before they put on another set of clean clothes. “No. we did not think of it that way,” Elise said as she combed her hair by her fingers and regarded brother. “It’s because the high priestess told us about missions. So we thought that our mission started in Te-Mehu and so it would naturally end here in Ta Shemau. It has to be that.” She then searched for some cologne. Perhaps her brother brought some. Then she found her Egyptian history book, The Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt. She frowned and looked at her brother. “Eric, did you bring this purposely?” She waved the book in her brother’s face. “Oh, I didn’t notice I pi

HOURS BEFORE THE REPORT OF WRATH: Greenfall Park, long considered a sanctuary between species of elves and werewolves alike, lay beneath a silver blue evening sky. Usually, the wind carried soft rushes of leaves from the elves’ Tree of Life. It is an ancient colossal trunk wrapped in spirals of light, feeding the land with vitality. Elven children often played beneath its branches while werewolves patrolled peacefully nearby. Tonight, however, the stillness felt like an omen. One that only the spirits of the forest understood.

"Elves are programmed to worship fairies, and fairies are mischievous little creatures. They love their kind deeply, but never give their heart to one. Usually elves commit to one fairy, while fairies commit to many." "Then why was the Elf boy all over me?" That damn Elf conveniently left that part out about their species. "Because he wanted to trick you into eating fairy fruit. He wanted to learn all your secrets to earn a place at Eldora's side." "That makes no sense." "Only to you it doesn't make sense because you're so stupid!" Bolton lost his temper again, screaming in my face and hands in the air. "I'm not stupid! You just suck at teaching me anything important I should know."
