Books Set In Las Vegas Novels & Stories

As she’s about to leave the room, someone called. “Hey, I’m leaving the hotel. My car service is waiting,” she talked to the person on the other line. “I can’t wait to see you here. We’ve so much to see and talk about,” Noah said. Cela gave her room one final look. This is the place where she leaves her old self. “We wanted to go to a specific place and it didn’t matter if the road was rough and the journey was long. In the end, we found different places for ourselves but these places were the destinations where we were truly meant to go,” she said to herself. The fourth book begins at chapter 1 in Paris. The End.

he said, taking in the castle exterior as we passed. "It's one of my favorites, too," I replied, enjoying the nightlife. Las Vegas should be called the city that never sleeps, instead of New York. There was always something to do here: shows, nightclubs, restaurants, casinos the strip was always hopping. There weren't even clocks in the casinos. It was truly an oasis in the desert. "What appeals to you about the Excalibur?"

I lay my head on Xavier chest , while he slowly ran his fingers through my hair – this moment felt so peaceful and so right , yet the events that had to occur to get to this perfect moment left a guilty feeling in my chest. “Where do we go from here?” I break the silence. Every one stays silent , only the crackle of the fire is audioable. “I think we should keep travelling North ; Alexander conquers most of the South so I am pretty sure we can find some refuge up North” Andrew says , making us all agree that is a good idea. “Britney , did you not say you have some relatives up North?” I ask her recalling the conversation we had a few times before. She nods and smiles.

I gripped the new dress that was given to me to wear after that shameless man tore my clothes out of my body. "It's time to go," I heard someone say to me before my eyes were blindfolded again and I was dragged away to a place I don't know and can't see. ____&&&&______ JAHI POV In the city of Lagos at dusk, the clacking sounds of heels could be heard. I walk as fast as my legs can take me in the direction of my room. I ferociously licked the droplets of blood that rolled down to my cheeks. I wouldn't lie and say that it didn't taste good. I love drinking the blood of my enemies.

“And this may not be the best venue to discuss it, after all. Castelli, a conversation with me, or the LVPD?” I swallowed hard, and it did nothing at all to clear the tightness in my throat. Prison couldn’t be that bad, I thought wildly. It couldn’t be worse than dealing with this man. But I’d come to Las Vegas on a gamble, after all, hoping my skill with cards would be enough to bluff my way through the line of credit I knew I couldn’t pay for. The police, jail, all the horrors and indignities of the criminal justice system—those were known quantities. I mean, I didn’t know what would happen, but I could take an educated guess. And none of it appealed to me. In fact, it made me want to run

I tell him before ducking outside and sparking up a smoke as I lean on my polished bike. My thoughts wander to the woman who called herself Flames last night. She'd had my attention as soon as her wide green eyes had met mine, her full lips curled in an amused smile as she casually dealt with Tanya. When she walked into the bar, I'd stood back and observed as everyone tracked the fiery red heads movements through the room. Whether she meant to or not, she managed to get the attention of everyone in there and I'm sure caused a few to suffer from their eyes wandering off of their ol' ladies. When she has walked away from me outside, my c**k had jumped in my trousers as I watched her round hips

Thank you for reading The Beta and the Jewel Thief - Book 6 of the Delta's Daughter series. I would like to kindly ask you all to leave me a review on the about book page. This helps me as an author and my stories get noticed on the app. Just a few words and a great rating would be appreciated. Now I know I left this book with another cliffhanger... You still love me I know it. ;) I also know there are a few questions. Not everything could be explained, the story had well superseded any of the other books in regards to word count.

Chapter 147 Katie's POV The bright world of Las Vegas ends where the desert begins. If you turn your back to the city and just look into the night, your whole life has a different feel. You forget about the angst of living and ugly people making your life unlivable at times. I don’t remember a time in my life when I felt so alone. I miss my home, and I miss Tina and Jen. I even miss my old job with its grueling hours and rowdy crowds.

She asked. Aiden gulped his shot and poured another for himself again. “Why do you think they called it Sin city? Because it’s full of sins…doubt the sins can be cleansed. Las Vegas is no child's play.” Aiden answered, trying to raise his voice amidst the music. Absolutely, Las Vegas is no child’s play and that’s the reason she can’t bring Gabby to live with her here apart from the nature of her job being a hindrance.

“For reading it.” “I’ll read everything you put your name on,” he said simply. Like a fact he’d already decided. The nursery held us both in its green quiet. Outside the Las Vegas evening was beginning its nightly performance, the city lighting up in its excessive and beautiful way, indifferent to the small private things happening in the houses beyond the Strip. In here it was quiet. In here something was being built. Not finished. Not without its cracks and its history and the long shadow of everything that had come before.
