THE END Author’s Note; We’ve finally reached the end of the main story. I spent so long trying to figure out how to say goodbye to these characters, and I’m so glad I got to do it this way. Thank you for reading, for commenting, for supporting, and for letting this story into your hearts. It truly means everything. Bonus chapters will be coming soon — and so will the first three chapters of my next book, The Biker’s Bride Wants Revenge, launching on January 1st. I will end this story around the time of the new book, and I consider the end to be happy. I am not great at endings, I know that. I often plan stories out and then, after they get together, I'm like, do I end this now? Or continue? I could have ended the Iron Alpha a bunch of times, but I kept coming up with new story lines and new characters, and well, here we are now. But all of those characters will be put to use in finding the girls. Ayway, I hope you stick around, and if you don't, that's fine too. I am just happy you've read as far as you did.

So a lot of you are confused about the specials. They are insignificant. That's all I have to say. They aren't actually a part of the story. They're just specials I wrote because of the holidays and I wanted to give my readers something to read since I took a long break (like 6 days without uploading). Anyways, the ratings in which you've stated your concern are the cause of this note. The end of this book is Chapter 36: The Second Great Specie War. That's it. That's the end. If you're confused because of the specials, just don't read them. You're not missing anything.

My thinking is that I add an authors note a the end of 'book' 1 so to speak and re-write the synopsis to advise any new readers that it will be 2 books in one. Hurray! Book one has finally ended and I am so excited. However, I am sorry to break your heart about the suspense. I know I left you hanging, but you can still find out what happened in BOOK TWO titled HEART OF THE HEARTLESS. It will come soon, and I will announce the date soon. For now, I need to focus and write my final exams and I promise you it's going to get better in book two. However, I did not end BOOK ONE because of the exams or school. This is how I wanted to end it to make up for a better BOOK TWO.
