Books Without Happy Endings Novels & Stories

As it was the time of recess, the library was almost empty except for the receptionist. Greeting her with a smile, I made my way to my usual table and took the book out of my bag. The book that I had borrowed from the pack library. The title read 'Tales Of The Mates" and the the book itself contained the real stories of the fated as well as chosen mates of the past Alphas. I had already read more than half of the book and I must admit that it was getting on my nerves now. Out of all the entries I have read so far, most of the happy endings were of the fated mates.

So I think we can move from there to a deeper feeling. Christina, the one and only lady of my heart, I know as well that your heart beat faster when you were with me. I'm a vampire, I have acute senses, so you can't hide something like that from me. If this is not a sign that you have at least similar feelings towards me, then you can stab a stake straight into my heart, cut off my head and burn my body to ashes so that I will never rise again. Because if I can't love and adore you for eternity, my life will be completely meaningless. I have been alone for so long that for me rejection equals death. Forgive me for writing such things, and if it sounds like blackmail, but I write everything h

Just staring out at the scenery, at the sky full of stars I couldn’t see back in my previous world. It wasn't that bad after all... I secretly raised the corner of my mouth. To paraphrase an author, life might be a book with a foregone conclusion. No matter how many words you write, it ends not with a "they lived happily ever after", but with a "and so they passed away." If the finale of this story that was being written is already set in stone, then all I can do is to fill the pages in between with happy and gentle sentences. It was wishful thinking. Still, I hope to keep weaving beautiful stories with all the people that I came to love in this world right up to the last page of life.

"The place where every unfinished story is abandoned." The room became still. The woman frowned. "A place can't move." "No," the First Reader replied quietly. "It isn't a place anymore." "It became... hungry." The bright point continued drifting across the map. Each line it consumed vanished forever. Adrian watched several glowing paths disappear. "What happens to those stories?" The White Book answered before anyone else could. Fresh words appeared across its pages. They are forgotten before they are ever imagined. A chill ran through the room. The boy slowly closed the nameless notebook.

And I treat many people to coffee and tea for free - no need to worry about this. The coffee machine rattled noisily, grinding beans. —Where is your section with horror literature? Thrillers? “Everywhere,” Yuna looked around at all the shelves in her field of vision. — We have a shop with a narrow specialization, there is practically no popular literature, especially sentimental prose, women’s fantasy and ironic detective stories. But there is a variety of alternatives, horror, mysticism, thrillers, dystopias. In general, we buy everything that other stores take for testing sales. With second-hand books, things are similar.

We talk about my next submission to her team, and its likely potential to get contracted. "You know, I don't think romantic tragedies are widespread in terms of e-books." One editor from the group says. "That's because people only favour happy endings. Their life is tragic enough as it is." It is an author who speaks. "They're right when they said happy endings only exist on paper," Myra speaks disappointedly. And I wouldn't expect anything else from a devoted employee and also someone who has a full-time job as a single mother with two kids and no spare time.

It's already noon. "UGH!!!" I groan while messing my head as I can't think of any to improve my work! Creating a happy ending is so hard for me as a tragedy writer! I need to have some ideas! I hurriedly stand up, open my vault, and look for a book that gives my idea a happy ending. Then it suddenly comes to my mind that I don't have any. All my books are mostly tragedy, horror, fantasy, and what he said is "Love Story." with a quotation.

Heidi lay on the ground, her eyes red as she called out, "Noah..." But Noah left without even looking at her. He strode to the front desk and asked if Erin had left anything else behind. He held onto a sliver of hope, but the doctor shook her head. "Mr. Levine, Ms. Miller only left a letter for her parents. There's nothing for you." Noah froze in place. After a long moment, he murmured a quiet "Okay." The day he left, heavy rain poured outside. In the past, a young woman with an umbrella would come rushing through the rain at times like this.

I dump my bag on the floor and read through the shelf while pulling books out and mumble as I go. ‘Even a book can be dangerous in the wrong hands.’ ‘Ignite.’ ‘Hell is empty and all the devils are here.’ ‘You’ll make bad choices. Sometimes you’ll choose the best of bad ones.’ ‘Tuesday is Fucked.’ ‘Everything’s a game. And now it’s your turn.’ I have a stack of about 10 books before I abruptly stop. "Next isle." I say and we walk up and down the library isles. I climb and jump to get books off of shelves and Aidan has to catch me a couple of times when I fell.

I tell him, covering his mouth with one of my hands, "don't tell me the ending, I didn't read the whole book so that you come to spoil the ending with a spoiler." "Okay, you're right, sorry." He sits to the side and stares at me while I finish reading. "You're right," I say closing the book. - In what? He asks, puzzled. "I didn't like the ending," I say, pouting and lean back in my chair, "why did the protagonist have to die?" "Actually, it seemed like a good ending to me." - Because? I turn to see him. —Because it is more realistic, it is not based on the typical and they lived happily ever after, in real life not everything turns out to be rosy, there are also tragedies, and that you rarel
