He didn't growl, he simply observed.
The meeting dragged on. I listened half-heartedly until their bickering became a headache. I raised a hand, silencing them mid-sentence.
“You all know this is an arranged marriage, right?” I said calmly.
They nodded, one after the other.
“Then let’s be clear,” I continued. “This won’t be a full-blown fairytale. Handle the dowry, perform the rites, and we’ll have a private court ceremony. No spectacle. Just her, me, and Draven as witness.”
