Rejected Alpha under editing!!! An: I didn’t know how to post a message for everyone to see, so I just decided to do it here. Hi, my name is Sharon and I’m the original author of this book, I posted a couple of comments in the comment section sometime ago when I first discovered my book had been stolen/plagiarized. It was very upsetting to me by the way, to have my work stolen like that. I reported it to the editors of this app and they helped me and gave the story back to me. Anyway, I’m saying all this because I’ve read a lot of complaints in the comment section about how chapters are repeating and some don’t make sense and that scenes seem to have been cut off. Well this is all true.

I know that you are angry on me because I am updating almost a month later. Trust me, things were going pretty hard last month. The previous editor of my book was tested covid positive. I was waiting for her to recover but later on, she left the book halfway. I had no other way out rather than finding another suitable editor for this book. I am truly sorry! I am trying my best to update frequently this month. By the way, the heavily edited version would be released on Kindle soon as this apps don't permit us to edit the chapters.

So I'm hoping to do that at least by early 2024. With wanting to up the book up, I went through the book with a fine tooth comb. There were a couple parts that I wasn't exactly happy with (and some of you had also commented that you didn't think it worked either or wanted more information) and so I have done some serious edits. :) If you have already paid and read through the book, maybe go through it again and see if you like the new updates. I know I am SUPER happy now with this story. I don't feel like there is a weak chapter or point anymore and I'm just so happy.

I only have 26 chapters of that book written, whereas I have all 110 chapters of this book written. You didn't get this whole book at once because I am heavily editing/rewriting each chapter before posting, so I don't have to come back and rewrite it again, as I still need to do for all my previous books. I may need to do some light editing to this book if I ever want to print it, but nothing like I am currently doing. I won't post book II until I have more of the book written. I'll give a few teaser chapters with pictures of the characters on my author bookface, like I always do. 😊

The book found its publisher in March, through a process that was considerably less dramatic than the content of the book itself, which Killian pointed out was probably appropriate given that the book was largely about the importance of substance over performance. It had taken eight months from the first notes in the kitchen to something that resembled a complete manuscript, and another four months of the kind of revision that was less about changing what was there and more about removing what shouldn't have been, stripping away every sentence that was performing certainty it didn't actually have and every paragraph that was protecting itself from being honest.

Literally they are the same book, only that there is a big change which left only the main plot untouched. Am sorry to not be able to guarantee the safely of some of your favorite characters.
