Booktok Gift Novels & Stories

I read out loud as I picked up the card lying on top of the bukay imitation. There was stuff like makeup products, skin care products, and a VIP pass for SPA treatments sponsored by Elva's palace, and I was really happy even though I am not so much of the makeup type because the gift doesn’t have one form of issue or the other like the first one. After Elva’s gift, the next thing that I opened was a gift bag that contained bails of US dollars, and of course, there was a note attached to it.

Each gift includes a personalized note from him saying things like ‘sorry I’m not with you right now’, ‘I cherish every moment we share’, ‘You make me happy,’ and even one that says, ‘Don’t worry I’ll tip the delivery guy because I know you traumatized him. I smile and laugh at each one, however, what actually brings a gasp from me is the collection of new books from my favorite author that haven’t been officially published yet, personally gifting the first edition of the books to me as well as a note telling me I’d become a renowned chef, but I also had the potential to become a greater writer than she could ever be.

Please vote, leave a gift and a review. Don't forget to check out my new book titled Barbarian: Mated To The Savage Alpha. XOXO.

Leave a review, a gem or one of your biggest hugs(staying a reader). So on that note,

Bentley I pondered for a long time on whether or not I should even wrap the gift. It’s just a book, really, but a gift deserves a presentation. I pulled it from behind my back and handed it to her. I watched her brows furrow, a small flicker of disappointment crossing her features—I did say it was a "big" gift, after all, and this was just a thin, rectangular object.

“This is perfect for today’s occasion.” I sat back in the chair placed in the middle of the room, facing him. Before grabbing a last hell torture ingredient, a small glass bottle filled with amber color liquid. “Just let him go, goddammit! I did what you asked me to do.” He said, almost shouting. His eyes were on the gifts I bought him. “I will,” I smirked and stabbed his right hand in the armrest of the wooden chair with a blade, reaping an ear-piercing scream.

Damien made his way to the door stopping when he felt her following behind him. “I almost forgot. I brought you something”, Damien placed the delicate, worn down leather book into her small hand – lingering only a moment as his fingers caught the ends of hers. “No, I can’t accept a gift”, her head shook violently from side to side, shocked he was giving her something. “It’s more like a token”, he smirked, unwilling to have her return the book. “It was my mothers and I want you to have it” Andrea watched him carefully, the curiosity behind her piercing eyes, made him want to touch her again. He clenched his hand and turned away, towards the exit. He wanted to escape now the gift was in her po

I swallowed thickly under the force of his attention and pulled the book out of my bag, slamming it onto the desk. “What’s this for?” I snapped. His attention was diverted as he looked at the book. When he looked back up, his lips were slightly lifted. “You’ve received my gift.” Heat and annoyance churned in my chest. Was that all he had to say? “Take it back.” “No.” I reared back at the force and speed of his refusal. He leaned back, fixing me with a steady look. “It was a gift freely given. Taking it back would be discourteous and a violation of basic etiquette.” he said. “I've never done so in the past and we won't do it now.”

Kain made a low, humming sound before saying, “then you may keep it. It is the first edition, so I assume it will net you a lot of money.” I could feel my eyes bulging out of my sockets as he said I could keep the book! “No way! I would never sell such a precious gift!” I stated clearly. Kain was being oddly nice to me with this gesture. I knew I would treasure this gift for all eternity.

It was a different thing if they were gifted. Opening the package, the librarian marvelled at the tasteful packaging. The box looked exquisite, nothing like raunchy third-rate toys made from possibly a sweatshop factory in China. It rivalled those expensive branded perfumes from high-end shopping districts. Already, she had high expectations for the limited edition vibrator set the company promised the participants of their No Nut November Challenge.
