Booktok Horror Books Novels & Stories

I continue to read and try to understand the knowledge before me. I decide to pack these books and I go back for others. I grab several jars of herbs and such too. Several crystals who's importance I read. I grab a book on banshees, and another old book with marker on it's spine. It's so old the original print has faded. Incubi, succubi and demons. I drag it back to the room excited to crack it open.

Kyle heard a faint rumbling noise. As he leaned in, suddenly a long, yellow claw reached out of the blackness, towards the bars. Ancient, primordial creatures, the savage seven were too hideous too look at, even for Kyle, and he had to turn away. For a moment, he felt relieved that they were locked up, and he second-guessed releasing them.

There was a table. Books stacked on it. Not like the ones I used to see at home. These looked older. Some of them had markings on the covers I didn’t understand. I walked closer. My fingers hovered over one of them before I touched it. The cover felt rough. Worn. I opened it slowly. The pages were filled with symbols. Not letters. Not words I knew. Shapes. Lines. Things that looked like drawings but weren’t. I frowned. “What is this…?” I flipped a page.

"The day I overheard Archer, they were discussing the Blood Moon day. I think I heard something about the Demon's forest." " Demon's forest? What's that?" Axel asked. " I have read about it somewhere, but I don't remember where." Adele thought hard and then asked Trevor, " Do you have ancient books in the Library here?" " Yes. We have every book related to supernaturals," Trevor says proudly. "Let's check," Adele said and dashed in the direction of the Library while everybody else followed her. They all started checking in the werewolf books, and after a few minutes, Adele found the required information in a Book called ' Scariest places on earth.' " It's here," she said, and the others left

After two days of high temperatures and intense boredom, he remembered the three books. Sam pulled out the one with the Mummy on the cover, because it looked the most innocuous. It was entitled the Ninth Pan Book of Horror Stories. He wasn’t the least bit prepared for what he found inside. The first three stories involved emasculation, murder and burning at the stake. In his fevered state Sam felt he was not only watching the characters’ suffering, he was experiencing it along with them. He flung the book at the wall and then hid it again, wishing he could burn it like Jinnot, the young girl in the third story who was burned alive.

My wolf replied. I shook off the "what-ifs" that held me back and turned back to the towering oak shelves. My fingers traced the spines of leather-bound books, all of them layered in dust that made my nose itch. "Focus," I muttered to myself. "One monster at a time." I immediately admonished myself. I continued to look until I found the books my dad had recommended. I pulled the four heavy volumes from the shelves. The History of Shadow Entities, The Blood Rites of the Unseen, The Search for Shadows and one volume of Pack Lore and Ancient Threats. I carried them to a secluded corner of the library. The dust felt suffocating, but I wouldn't let anything stop me.

He shifts back; putting a seat between us and truly looking horrified. Bibah simply shakes her head at our childish shenanigans and takes a sip of her iced latte, metal straw clinking in the Hydro Flask. “The Awoo Book Club’s pick for this week is H.P Lovecraft.” She pats the voluminous book atop the pile and I notice it’s the library copy of H.P Lovecraft’s Omnibus 3. “I’m so excited to roast his ass.”

The books she stacked on the table caught his attention. "'The Expanded History of Death'," he read the titles aloud, "'Funerals through the Ages'. 'Life after Death: the Existence of the Afterlife'. 'Creatures of the Night'. Are you trying to know more about Hellborns and the Underworld?" Calix was a lot of things, but unfortunately, he wasn't thick, Kat lamented. "Yes."

“You are the one who took a young girl hostage and plan to use her blood for what exactly?” “It’s you,” the witch said and Caitlin raised a brow. “Do you know who I am?” “No, but you will soon be known.” Caitlin became confused at what the witch said and it was then her eyes lowered to see that she was holding onto something which peeked out from her coat. She saw something black which looks like a book and it gave her the description of the sacred book the priest talked about which she had pictured from the mind of the other priest. “I see that you’ve stolen the so-called sacred book. What is it about this sacred book exactly?” Caitlin asked, looking curious.
