Rejected By My Mate, Chosen By Fate

Rejected By My Mate, Chosen By Fate

I sit on a chair and place the book on the reading table. "I've always known that you were special but I really don't see why you had to go through so much trouble for this dusty old book when you've got a pile of other good looking books to read." Kayden said and grabbed a chair so he could sit beside me. I dabbed some more dust off the book so I could at least see the title but after all the effort, I found that there was no title. That's strange.

The Don's Property

The Don's Property

ELARA POV I try to paint a perfect picture of a cool and collected girl who isn’t internally freaking out and hold the book to my face still. The suffocating heat of his chest suddenly vanishes from my back as he straightens to his full height. Then the click of his dress shoes against the hardwood floor fills the air as he rounds the reading table until his tall frame fills my peripheral vision. Gaze fixed on me, he sinks into the seat in front me, causing the chair to scrape against the floor as if he’s too big for the furniture.

Pregnant For My Bully

Pregnant For My Bully

Maybe I should take a nap up in my room. No. What if dad got home early? I'd have to answer a ton of questions. I shook my head. Slowly, my gaze drifted to Amelia. It was obvious to see that she was struggling to be comfortable on the 'too small' chair I had purposely ordered her to sit in. She used her left leg as leverage to hold up the pile of books she was using, while she sat at the very edge of the chair because it was the only way to prevent the books from falling.

DIRTY AFFAIR WITH HIS IDENTICAL TWIN

DIRTY AFFAIR WITH HIS IDENTICAL TWIN

A fully stocked changing table with wood that matched the crib sat along the far wall. The beautiful, wooden rocking chair in the corner caught my eye. A giant, brown teddy bear with a peach bow smiled at me from the seat. I walked over to run my hand along the back of the chair. “That was my great grandmother’s rocking chair,” Devon told me. “Several generations of Booker babies have been rocked to sleep in that chair.” It was all so beautiful and overwhelming. I couldn’t believe that they had managed to transform this room in the amount of time that I had been gone.

SINFUL PLEASURES: Short Flithy Stories

SINFUL PLEASURES: Short Flithy Stories

Rows of shelves lined the walls, packed with thick leather-bound books, and right in the center was this old reading chair, high-backed and showing signs of wear from years of use. She turned and locked the door behind us, the click sounding louder than it should have in the quiet space. “Strip down,” she said, leaning back against one of the shelves with her arms crossed over her chest

Be careful what you wish for

Be careful what you wish for

I lift my head up to see if anyone was staring at me , luckily there were none – very few people actually come to the library these days. My eyes catch the attention of an old arm chair that sits a meter or two away from me. It looks worn out yet oddly comfy – like the chair our grandparents would use , where it does not look like much it’s unimaginably comfortable. My eyes travel to the base of the chair and I notice that a thick book lays underneath one of it’s legs. It provides support to the worn of chair .

The Bookstore Temptation

The Bookstore Temptation

--- They collapsed into one of the oversized armchairs wedged into the corner of the store. Julian sat rigidly, his tall form uncomfortably bending into the cushioned chair, but Aria snuggled in beside him with a cup of cocoa almost as large as her head. Lena started reading. Her voice was gentle and melodious, spinning magic among the bookshelves. The tale was uncomplicated, nearly childish, yet in the manner in which she related it, all of that was forgotten. Patient, gentle, and descriptive, even the adults edged a bit closer.

Captured By The Brutal Lycan King

Captured By The Brutal Lycan King

I imagined. The library had tall floor-to-ceiling shelves, with long windows that had draped curtains over them. Above was a bright overhead chandelier light. There were red soft plush couches at different corners of the room. I looked to my right at the far end of the room. There was a big mahogany desk with a recliner. Though the table was empty, on it stood a desk lamp, notepads, and a pen holder for jotting. Behind it on the wall was a beautiful wallpaper with bold imprinted letters on it - READING IS LIFE. This was heaven basically. What else would appease me other than these books?

Secrets of the Luna

Secrets of the Luna

Walking over to the bookshelves, he looked at everything she had put on there. “I got all your books and organized them. Grace didn’t give me much to work on so I guessed for the decor.” “You got it perfectly.” Throwing my arms around her, she staggered back a little before hugging me back. “Thank you so much!” “Of course! I’m glad you like it.” Letting her go, I moved to my desk and sat down. The chair wasn’t an usual office chair. It had a second landing that could be used to cross your legs or just prop them up.

Every single book I read from Mrs. Smith is AMAZING! Secrets of the Luna is no exception. Her writing makes the story fly by too fast! What I LOVE is you become part of the story, and to me, that's a sign she's a great author.

Love the book although the plot is just a repetition of Tattooed Luna with a few differences. Same storylines… FL with complicated childhood being hunted down by villain with Mafia ties and overprotective brother is also in the mix. Just too similar in my view. But enjoyable nonetheless.

Half-blood Luna and The Blind Prince of Rogue

Half-blood Luna and The Blind Prince of Rogue

Above it was a headboard covered with a buttery soft velvet fabric. In one corner of the room, there was a cozy reading corner, complete with a comfortable armchair and matching stool. The armchair is upholstered in a soft chenille fabric, and the footstool is upholstered in luxurious faux fur, making it the perfect place to curl up with a good book or a cup of tea. Who designed this incredibly cozy room? "The young master said that the empty side would be for your baby box," Bella pointed to the empty corner on the other side.
