Absolute Obedience

Absolute Obedience

I was just looking forward to any kind of conversation. Jace pushed open the doors and I almost sprinted past him, so eager was I to get into a new room. I stepped in and froze in wonder at the floor-to-ceiling shelves of books as far as the eye could see. Directly in front of me was an open space where a long, polished, wooden table and chairs sat in front of a large stone fireplace. It was beautiful. Behind the table rows and rows of bookshelves ran to the back of the room. They looked like the perfect place to find a quiet spot to hide away in with a good book.

The Great Wizard

The Great Wizard

The room was silent, towering shelves filled the room. Tall shelves filled with a variety of books. From thin books to those that are as thick as cardboard, there are also books on the shelf. And those who become the most immortal inhabitants will usually be very rarely touched. The big lamp right in the middle of the building made a bright impression on the room.

Alpha Atlas

Alpha Atlas

I tried not to gawk as I watched shimmering blue and grey threads of magic reach out in all directions towards the shelves of books that lined the room. Book after book removed itself from the shelves, drifting into neat stacks on the nearest table. My amazement was quickly replaced with abject horror when the total book count reached twenty-three. "There's no way I'm going to be able to read this many books." I laughed, but grabbed a large armful of them anyway. I figured it'd be smart to move in clusters. I'd open up six or so books, scan the index until I found either portals or blockages. Most of the book's only briefly mentioned the subjects, and quickly dropped them entirely as they we

Miss Nessie
Not a bad book, a few errors and gramma issues, needs to be edited. I would love to see a second book, but that probably won’t happen. The friends characters were a huge part to this book and I would love to see some short stories from their pov, there could be some really good story lines.

Each time I read your book, I say that's my favorite of all your books but this...this is very intriguing. I can't put it down honestly, now I say—I'm gonna read all of your books. It's you and I because your writing style is way more than I've ever seen anyone use before.

The Goddess Warrior

The Goddess Warrior

The air smelled faintly of old parchment and polished wood, a rich, comforting scent that spoke of history and knowledge. Rows upon rows of bookshelves stretched toward the ceiling, filled with ancient tomes, modern texts, and carefully preserved manuscripts. Some shelves displayed artifacts behind locked glass cases—ornate relics, weapons, and strange objects that seemed to hum with unseen energy. Soft light from overhead fixtures cast a warm glow, illuminating the objects and creating dancing shadows between the stacks.

A Dragons Heart

A Dragons Heart

Terry looked at the shelves in shock as he kept looking up until he was nearly looking at the roof to see the top of the shelves, "Please tell me these shelves are organised into subcategories of childcare?" "I'm afraid not. The books are only organised into their main category, so if you're looking for books on egg care, you'll have to search through all of these." "Is there any fTom way? Do you know of any egg care books that are to hand?" The librarian walked over to the left shelf and started skimming through the books until he stopped, pulled one out, and handed it to Terry. As Terry read the title, he didn't look happy, "Egg care for idiots... Do you have anything more informative than

Bonded to the Bastard: My Rejection, His Obsession

Bonded to the Bastard: My Rejection, His Obsession

He was just a guy. Alpha Luciano Westwood had ruined me for romance. I rubbed the familiar, aching spot in my sternum. We started going through a few of the boxes. We needed to figure out how many shelves the space required. I had at least fifteen boxes of books. It turned out I felt like keeping every single one. Who gets rid of books anyway? Some of them were old and soft-edged. Others were brand new, probably old store overstock. Facundo pulled out a tape measure. He began jotting down numbers on a small pad as he assessed the living room walls. “Alright, if we put the tall shelves against this wall, we can fit the shorter ones under the window. How does that layout sound?”

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

The thought is a small, bitter comfort because nothing stings like betrayal. My gaze slides left and locks on the bookshelf. Old wood, a little scuffed, shelves stuffed with returned paperbacks and a few knick-knacks, mismatched bookends, a ceramic owl, a stack of defunct menus someone shoved in a hurry. The bottom shelf sags, the base leaning a fraction out from the wall. Whoever stocked it last time did a sloppy job. It is not anchored. My brain flips through possibilities like cards, fast and clean.

the alpha is supposed to be blind, it’s the whole premise of the book, yet the author constantly describes him as “seeing” people’s blood shot eyes, watching people walk away, looking at himself. it’s sloppy, bad writing. i don’t recommend the “sometimes not quite blind alpha”
Sirena Mares
Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.

The Alpha Daddy's Contractual Bride

The Alpha Daddy's Contractual Bride

Besides, it was a good subject to learn about. I scanned the shelves, squinting at the titles on the higher rows. Most of the botany books seemed to be stored near the top, probably because they weren’t accessed very often. I spotted a few promising titles and made my way over to the ladder. “Let me grab some for you,” I said, gripping the rails. The ladder was old but sturdy, and it slid smoothly along its track as I positioned it beneath the shelf I wanted. I climbed slowly, scanning the books as I went up. I grabbed a few and tucked them under my arm, climbing with my free hand.

After finishing the book, they would share their thoughts and insights. Due to their love for buying books, the bookshelf in the living room had already insufficient storage long ago. So, they made two wooden shelves to stack all the books they had read on top of them. The wooden shelves had no cover. Furthermore, they were usually busy with work and had no time to clean and take care of the books. As a result, many of the books on top had accumulated dust.
