The Villainous Emperor is My Pet?

The Villainous Emperor is My Pet?

There was magic, action, drama, shitty ex-fiancees, and love triangles. It was a famous web novel. The story always ended on the cliffhanger. There were a lot of snu-snu moments. The male lead was so frustrating at times that I wished to go into the book and choke him. The female lead, who was so dense despite being from a modern world, made my blood boil at all times. Why couldn't she see the second male lead who was in puppy love with her? She should be with anyone else but that cold-hearted asshole male lead who kept forcing himself on her.

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

"My wife won't have to lift a finger for anything in the future!" Toph said seriously, looking at Renee. "Have you read 'Gone with the Wind'?" Not well-versed in literature, Renee shook her head with slight embarrassment. Toph spoke gently. "In the book, there's a part where the female protagonist falls into difficulties and goes to the male protagonist to borrow money. Despite previously claiming to live luxuriously, the male protagonist could tell from her appearance that she was struggling just by looking at her hands. They were rough, giving away her true situation... Do you understand why?"

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

The Alpha Rejected Mate Is A True Lycan

The Alpha Rejected Mate Is A True Lycan

My brain final clicked that I was not crying because of the book. I was actually crying because I was sad that Blake and I were fighting and we had not sorted it out. He keeps trying to apologise, but I want him to be grovelling on the floor. I focus back on the book in my hand. Anthony and Kate were amazing and they went from to enemies to lovers. That is the best romance trope there is. Enemies to lovers, they fight every time and claim to hate each other but underneath all that venom is actually passion. I move on to Benedict’s story. I have heard that his story is similar to Cinderella’s story. I continue reading the book.

Untameable: Enlightened Child Saga

Untameable: Enlightened Child Saga

I couldn’t help myself as I was immediately absorbed into the main character’s world. True to his word, it was werewolf erotica. This particular book started with a heated, frantic lovemaking session in a moon-drenched forest to introduce the character’s predicament. Apparently, she’d been caught in her heat by a man who was not her mate. And now, she was pregnant with an illegitimate child.

Summer Camp

Summer Camp

Then I go to the comiXology app and open the comic I had added into my library last day- the comic Theo drew- 'Fireflies'. I started reading the book and pretty soon got immersed in it. It was a love triangle between a girl and two guys, and like he said, it was more like a manga. The male lead is the girl's childhood friend and the other guy is her long time crush. While her childhood friend helps her to get her crush to love her back, he's desperately crushing on her, knowing his feeling are unrequitable. This was a cliche plot and I myself have read a lot of books, both mangas and novels with this same plot but it still felt interesting to read. Especially in my current situation, it felt

The Rogue Deity: Until Death Do Us Part

The Rogue Deity: Until Death Do Us Part

The sound of a book slammed shut echoes through the empty library. "You and I are done here Ange," said Alinta with blushing cheeks, an unsatisfied groan sounded in her head. "I am tired of these books! They start off so promising, and then it's a sex fest, where yet again the heroine proves to be a weakling, and the guy wins her heart; though I can predict he is going to stuff up a few more times before they become one and hopefully live happily ever after." "I see those red cheeks," Angela hissed spitefully.

The Omega and Her Three Wolves

The Omega and Her Three Wolves

But if things went wrong—and knowing my luck, something would—I didn’t want to pull them into the trouble that would follow. My gaze fell on the trashy romance novel sitting on the front seat. It was objectively terrible; bad grammar, weak plotting, and things happened far too easily for the heroine. I’d devoured it in a single night. It was trash, but it was delicious trash. The heroine had auctioned off her virginity to the mafia to pay for her father’s debts and ended up being ‘oversold’ to three brooding Alphas all vying for her attention and favors.

His Favorite Enemy (Ruin Me, My Love)

His Favorite Enemy (Ruin Me, My Love)

It made me want to rip the skin from my bones just to stop feeling everything. “She ran off with her little boyfriend. Cute, really. But predictable.” My stomach twisted, bile climbing high. “If you don’t marry him,” he continued, eyes gleaming like a vulture circling a fresh carcass, “I’d love to see her reaction when we… play.” That word. That cursed, ice-blooded word. It cracked open the rusted cellar of my childhood and let every monster crawl back in. “You promised you’d never say that again,” I croaked, the edges of my voice torn and frayed.

The Huntress

The Huntress

I asked while approaching her taking the book out of her hand and kissing a soft gentleman on her cheeks. “Why are you here?” she asked giving a breath out as if she was already out of patience with me. “I’m here to ask you whether you enjoyed the moment where Garret made her use her vibrator on herself while he jerked off or when he made the handoff campus-wide rule for Hannah,” I spoke with a sly smirk on my face. “You …. You read books?” she questioned with a confused look. “Of course I do, I preferably love the enemies-to-lovers trope; it had to be one of my favorites. I’ve read the Off-campus series and am in the progress of reading the Briar – U series.”

Reborn: The Duke’s Unbothered Villainess

Reborn: The Duke’s Unbothered Villainess

So naturally, everyone hated her. And now… I was her. Rude. 4. I, on the other hand, have a functioning brain, sass, and an anime obsession. And that makes all the difference. Because here’s the thing: I know every trope. The useless noble girl who gets reincarnated? Been there. The magical world where mana = power? Yup. The misunderstood villainess arc? Absolutely. The fake marriage with a brooding duke who secretly has trauma and abs? Yes, please. I know how this plays out—and I’m not letting them kill me off in Chapter 3 this time.
