Black Claw: Bound by Fate

Black Claw: Bound by Fate

On the eighth day, they found the cabin. It sat nestled against the mountainside, a squat little structure with a chimney that still stood. The windows were boarded over, but the door swung open easily enough—no lock, just a simple latch. Inside, they discovered traces of life: a metal bed frame with a sagging mattress, a wood stove half-filled with ash, a bookshelf where the spines of tattered paperbacks faced out like soldiers at attention. Elena ran her fingers across the dusty tabletop. "Someone lived here."

Divorced My Cheating Husband & Fell For His Twin

Divorced My Cheating Husband & Fell For His Twin

"Come on. Let's go inside,” he said. The cabin was warm and silent on the inside. The fire was already glowing in the stone hearth, casting a soft light across the wooden floors. There was a long leather couch which sat across from it, facing a low table stacked with books and a complimentary bottle of wine. The kitchen was open-plan and cozy, with copper pots hanging from a rack above the kitchen island and tall windows overlooking the dark woods behind us. I wandered to the fireplace, holding my hands out toward the flames while Ethan set the bags down. My heart still hadn't slowed from the excitement, and I could already tell that this was going to be a perfect week.

Broken Bond

Broken Bond

she asks, blinking through the darkness. This cabin sits near the border of our territory- the border between Norbury and Riverton. She must’ve crossed the border from Riverton during her pack’s full moon run when she felt the pull of the mate bond. It’s not much, but I’ve brought things here over the years to make it more comfortable for when I needed to hide out and get away. There’s a bed pushed up against the far wall, covered in soft blankets that I brought in after freezing my ass off one winter night. An old kitchenette is on the opposite side, the stove rusty from years of disuse and an abandoned teakettle resting on the counter. The only other furniture is a small table with a singl

This one is still at my number one spot!! Each and every book CJ has written has been brilliant from start to finish. The 6 pack Series and all the spin offs are one of the very best series I've read to date but this one pulls my heartstrings like no other. You'll have to read it to understand!!
Traci Williams
I can’t say enough good things about this author, this book, and the series. The story builds you up, and breaks you down. The characters are well developed, the struggle with inner demons, guilt, shame, and manipulation in this story are well illustrated with Primer’s story-telling.

Dream Dominant Collection

Overhead, a log cross beam ran the width of the cabin, and there was a large ring attached to its center. In the right back corner was a cast-iron pot-bellied stove. It was a necessity for heating the place, especially in winter. You could also use it for cooking or heating water. Not far from the stove near the back wall, Blake's eyes ran to his favorite piece in the cabin: an antique copper hip tub he'd brought over from a shop he'd stumbled upon during a trip to Montreal. On the same trip, he'd also picked up a vintage, blue silk tri-fold screen which stood behind the tub. He had plans for that tub tonight.

Alpha Raven

Alpha Raven

Katya sat cross-legged on the wooden floor of her cabin, surrounded by stacks of dusty books and old journals. The air was thick with the scent of aged paper and a hint of lavender, her mother’s favourite herb. Sunlight streamed in through the small, round window, casting a warm glow over the room and illuminating the particles of dust that danced in the air. She carefully opened one of her mother's old journals, its leather cover worn and soft from years of use.

HOWLSTONE ACADEMY:300 DAYS WITH THE ALPHA-BETA TRIPLETS

Throughout the entire walk in the partly dark surroundings, they looked back, watching for people who might try to nab them as they increased their pace with each passing second. Luckily, they made it back to the cabin in no time, and Hazel rushed into their room, walking to her cupboard, which was made of finely crafted wood. Swiftly, she pulled it open, drawing out a black box. She unzipped it while Finn watched her with no clue what she was searching for. After a few seconds of searching, she pulled out a huge book bound at its four corners by a metal clasp. “I cannot believe that I thought I would be studying this the entire stay at camp,” she said as she dusted the cover with her hands.

The Rejected Luna is the Goddess' Blessed

The Rejected Luna is the Goddess' Blessed

"Through writing.] -- Mallory was led towards a small cabin deeper inside the underground forest. It looked abandoned, and as expected, it was dusty and dirty outside. The cabin contained the basic necessity for it to be called a comfortable home. A bed, a kitchen, a table and chairs, and a bookshelf. Mallory looked at the bookshelves, and one caught her attention. It was a notebook. Unlike others which were created beautifully, it was a notebook that looked like it had faced hardship in its whole life.

Kiss It Better

Kiss It Better

The next week is the most surreal week of my life. I settle into Kyle’s cabin—a surprisingly cozy home with a wraparound deck that’s a short ways behind the bar, tucked away in the trees. It’s nothing like the sparse bachelor pad I would have pictured for him; there are squashy sofas and bookcases crammed with paperbacks, and the cranky bar boss has strung bird feeders in the nearest branches and wrapped string lights around his deck rail. It’s cute as hell. Like something I might have cut out of a magazine when I went through that vision board phase.

can walk JC let me down' I say rubbing my eyes. JC puts me on my feet and we were walking down a hill 'where are we?' I ask as I was looking around 'This is the Sanborn park I usually come here to stretch my legs and be on my own for a little' he says 'oh but isn't the park more up hill? I ask. He nods, he didn't say much more after that we kept walking along the trail the air was very refreshing it was slightly cold but because we are wolves we don't get cold, the smell of wet dirt and trees just fells so good to inhale into my lungs there were trees everywhere, moss on the rocks we went over to get to the small river. We had to jump over to get to the other side of the river to continue

Her Carnal Desires

Her Carnal Desires

But I swept those thoughts away and sat back on the bed with fresh tea and the book. "Ick," I sputtered over the bitter drink until my tongue was ready for me to try again. It was scalding hot and not what I was used to drinking in Laernear. Before long I was on my second cup and nearly done with the book. Thumping boots greeted me, and I whipped my head up to see Caliban approaching the door. I sighed in relief that it was him and not the owners of this cabin coming out of season. This time he had a doe over both of his shoulders. His amber eyes glanced at me as he stomped in, but he turned away after seeing the book in my hands. I rolled my eyes in his direction and went back to reading wh
