She doesn’t seem like the kind of wolf that gives up without a fight. “I have big news,” Marian said, bringing me out of my daydream. “Boris Conway, the country’s most powerful and richest werewolf, took interest in Arina’s photography of Onyxfang.” My mouth dropped open. I’ve heard about Boris. Jonathan had told me that they met briefly at one time during a business trip to Silverside. Boris is the Alpha of Silverside, a werewolf city I’ve only dreamt of going to. I’ve only seen Silverside through images; it’s populated by thousands of werewolves. The buildings are skyscrapers and Jonathan told me they have the best museums in the country.

Their leader is a black wolf with blue eyes, and he wants to stand on the high cliff and declare war on his opponent. The Red Wolve did not dare to stop but only dared to lean to the side. Wolves usually have gray and yellow fur, but with wolves having white, black, and red fur is very special. The black wolf that received the order to distract Windy was just a wolf with yellow fur because to distract the opponent, he disguised himself to look like Ezra.

Boris doubled over in pain as the rejection of his pack seared through him like a burning brand, his body convulsing under the weight of his lost connection. He let out a strangled snarl, but before he could recover, Andre and the rest of the wolves lunged at him. Their growls echoed through the courtyard as they slammed him onto the hard ground, pinning him beneath their collective strength. "You're finished," Andre growled, his breath hot with rage. The others pressed down harder, ensuring Boris had no room to fight back.

To my pleasure, they did. When I attacked Boris with them, it gave me some satisfaction to see that he was not above screaming as I stuck them into him. The wolf's bane marvellously stopped his wolf from healing him, so he bled out slowly. And oh, did he scream and scream. Loudly too. It was exquisite.

My heartbeat was still too fast and I felt dizzy. "Celia, tell me what the man looked like." Carson said as a wolf came out of the trees and bumped into Carson's hip. Carson let go of one arm and slide a backpack off his shoulder. The wolf grabbed it in his teeth and darted behind a tree. I tried to think clearly. I wasn't sure what to say.

Lucas' heart was beating so fast he couldn't feel a thing. Since it was supposed to feel pleasant he closed his eyes and gave a nod. Then out of the blue a feeling of euphoria hit him.

In a shaky voice, Boris said, “Please forgive me, Katniss. I would tell you everything you want to know-“ “No need. I got all the details I need already. It turns out you were not as important to the vampire king as you think, Boris. You didn’t even get to meet him yet.” “His assistant said I could finally meet him soon. I could help you retrieve the wolves, Katniss-“ I laughed. “Help me? Bullshit! And you think you could fool me again after what you did to my brother and to your own clan?” I didn’t allow him to answer. I ripped his throat out before tossing his body aside. I accepted the towel Wyatt had given me and used it to wipe the blood off my hands and then I threw the towel on Boris’

Dahlia giggled as she finished off his ice-cream. “Boris does not play fair guys,” Matt whined. “Boris is big enough to choose to not play fair. Would you challenge him?” Leila raised an eyebrow at him. It had been two weeks since everything went down with Demon. Silas and I decided to make Boris a co-Beta with Troy, and Troy welcomed it because being Beta to 1385 wolves ‘can put strain on a man’s ability to have an imagination’.
